+Connor Hagerty Until Ryusuke goes on the run from organized crime boss who he happened to steal guitar. I mean the end was kind of stressful I thought he was dead for a bit.
this is one of my favourite songs from the anime, its truly beautiful and when its played for the first time it makes me want to cry. this along with moon on the water are just pure emotion for me.
just saw beck again for (only) the 3th time .... can never get tired of it xD but but.... i still need to watch it some more to keep up with you guys :(
@hero2k6 i think the nirvana tribute would be the way ryusuke plays his guitar he almost holds his guitar and slumps over it like kurt and harold sakuishi the author of beck said that koyuki is another tribute to ratm thats seen in the way he holds his guitar like tom morello and the cap too
This is the reg ver. Its always been sung like this on the anime. The 2 OST's with the dogs on the covers are the song off the anime with some that was never played.
Awesome references and tributes in this anime! Chiba - RATM Taira - RHCP Ryusuke - Hendrix Dying Breed (When they played My World Down) - Oasis I've Got A Feeling - Beatles I'm sure there was a Nirvana tribute somewhere too, if I remember correctly XD There was even a Shawshank Redemption reference in the scene where Koyuki plays 50 C Wisdom at the school XD
well 1 thing u can do is their is a program i use that u copy the url than paste it and it automatically downloads it but the video is still their. ummm u could always check if its on the websites in the description or in google search beck ost songs or something like that

I'll only understand you if you have only seen the english dub or the show or the English dub first. People tend to like music more because of the memories with it then how it sounds.
@adrianGGO its not the engrish that is the problem...its the actual singing. the actor had a lot of trouble controlling his breathing and holding notes and you add to the fact he has a strong accent, the quality of singing is not going to be as high. Beat Crusaders (the band that wrote most of the songs for the show) sing a lot of songs in engrish but you don't hear the struggle as you do with japanese koyuki. the point is the singing not the engrish is problem.
@nevadachi Spare me the emotion rhetoric. Emotion? Please. Anyone can emote. If emotion was all it took to be a good actor, anyone could do it. I could do it. There are plenty of things, such as pronunciation, enunciation, and timing that are lost on you if you don't understand the language being spoken. All you really know when listening to a language you don't understand is some smaller emotions (Yay!) and how pleasant the voices sound. You know that a lot of Japanese actually like the English
Well, obviously, but it isn't like the show ignores the engrish. There are whole scenes that concern Koyuki trying to learn to speak better English, and so I personally think that the lack of perfect grammar/pronunciation is one of the little things that really makes me love this version.
Simone Santirocco già già.. I ricordi sono ciò che resta, ma questa canzone mi ha dato l'idea che cercavo per il mio nuovo canale principale, quindi ricordi utili
@OniLordMiki in my opinion this version has more emotion in it, in the dub version is like: "since you never could catch me...*sighs* find you weeping in darkness". sounds like the dub guy is SO bored! Besides, japanese ppl got their seiyuu picked in acordance to the character personality. unlike when they dub in other language. For me if its dubbed it loses part of the characters personality right there.
@m4ssee I do prefer the Japanese but there are lots of great dubs like DBZ for example and a lot of Gundam series. It's only a lot of the recent animes that have shitty English dubs.
@xlaleclx So? Notice that I'm not American so it's not like I would try to be any better than the others but still, I just don't get it why some people prefer the English dub over the original..
If you listen to the lyrics carefully, you will discover that it is actually English... Why dub it? BTW, just finished the whole BECK (Mongolian Chop Squad) series today... and this song is stuck my head :P
@OniLordMiki not a weeaboo i think, since he probably, just like me, apreciate things in their original language... like american movies need to be english, not dubbed in other language same with the anime. it need to be japanese! so much more emotion!
@untriedhunter English dub is fail.... if you actually know what good singing is, if you played in a band, or have ears. But I guess some people just like Justin Beiber and listen to Beck English Dub :/
And I know that singing in English as a Japanese person must be very hard work, but the personal effort doesn't matter if the finish product turns out to be unsatisfying. I'm sure people worked very hard making the Twilight movies, but that doesn't make them good movies. It makes them shitty movies paved on good intentions.
Damn elitists. Can you not just accept two different version or views? You remind me of people that argue of religion or politics. They think they are right no matter what and do not care regardless of another's opinion. I like both, why can't you just do that same? If you don't then stop putting down another version to feel you have a superior view.
definitely the best slice of life anime for me. It was always just so chilled out and had a nice atmosphere.
+Connor Hagerty Until Ryusuke goes on the run from organized crime boss who he happened to steal guitar. I mean the end was kind of stressful I thought he was dead for a bit.
lol thats nothing the manga killed me inside but it was still beautiful.
this is one of my favourite songs from the anime, its truly beautiful and when its played for the first time it makes me want to cry. this along with moon on the water are just pure emotion for me.

@sanfanucci Very much agreed... Greg Ayers sounds like a robot when he sings this song...
seriously guys, y don't you just relax and enjoy the song...have a little respect for BECK (the band and the dog)!!!
Large lips in the motion
Trying to keep blaming on
As I say reason I'm late on
Find you turning
Laughing and smiling
Running over sometimes
Feel like you leave me behind
Now you don't have to mind it
Find you shining
Everyday by day
Sing it up, my sister
In this world which everyone is lonely
Everything will be fine someday
Remember
Playing in the backyard
Hiding myself in garage
Since you never could catch me
Find you crying
Weeping in darkness
Sing it up, my sister
In this world which everyone is lonely
Everything will be fine someday
Some other day
Large lips in the motion
Trying to keep blaming on
As I say reason I'm late on
Find you turning
Laughing and smiling
Sing it up, my sister
In this world which everyone is lonely
Everything will be fine
Some other day
Sing it up, my sister
In this world which everyone is lonely
Everything will be fine someday
Some other day
Some other day

This song is hot fire
@adrianGGO its not the engrish that is the problem...its the actual singing. the actor had a lot of trouble controlling his breathing and holding notes and you add to the fact he has a strong accent, the quality of singing is not going to be as high. OMG ;_; SO GOOOOOOD !!!!!

@gregogr i completely agree except for if ur watching dragon ball z its the only one thats good dubbed
@OniLordMiki in my opinion this version has more emotion in it, in the dub version is like: "since you never could catch me...*sighs* find you weeping in darkness". sounds like the dub guy is SO bored! @m4ssee I do prefer the Japanese but there are lots of great dubs like DBZ for example and a lot of Gundam series.
It's only a lot of the recent animes that have shitty English dubs.
ignorance... sometimes is a bless.. and other times...
where can i dL this song
WHAHAHAHAHA OH LORD, i didnt even notice that in the beginning XD
EXACTLY. They clearly haven't been listening to the anime.
@xlaleclx
So? Notice that I'm not American so it's not like I would try to be any better than the others but still, I just don't get it why some people prefer the English dub over the original..
i think it was this one Oo
Face Go go go go [?]
@xlaleclx
Yeah, well tbh I prefer some animes with unoriginal dubs too. But those are mainly the ones I watched as a kid with the unoriginal dubs.
😩😩
If you listen to the lyrics carefully, you will discover that it is actually English... Why dub it?
BTW, just finished the whole BECK (Mongolian Chop Squad) series today... and this song is stuck my head :P
i was holding my balls while listening this song! BECK YOU ROCKS!
its the accent.. not using nasal ^_^
@sanfanucci
engurisu, not engrish
I "rike" this.
I don't know what hurts worse: The weeaboos or the engrish!
He sings good in Japanese nd English :)
SUGOI!!! I don't care about Accent or Fucking Grammar!!! Dude! It's all about MUSIC!!!...
@OniLordMiki not a weeaboo i think, since he probably, just like me, apreciate things in their original language...
like american movies need to be english, not dubbed in other language
same with the anime. it need to be japanese! so much more emotion!
beck
beck is a really great anime you don't know too ?
WEPING IN DAKNESS!
Isn't this song originally sung in English anyway?
@monkeyman123321 :( so much fail in your comment.
@pillu379 hey i saw this happaned before lol
yes, but they fix the grammar in the dub.
Ahhhhhhh.... SCREW YOU! ;)
i can't get past that funny accent.
"hiding myself in your ass"
hahaha, i think i like the english version better, but this is good too.
Love Japanese accent for English
Who let the trolls in?
@untriedhunter English dub is fail.... if you actually know what good singing is, if you played in a band, or have ears. But I guess some people just like Justin Beiber and listen to Beck English Dub :/
if they not using the word sister it would b better =0) i mean in my point of view
it is but it sounds better when he sings it so don't fuck around :3
I hate the Japanese version of Koyuki's singing voice because it's nasally as hell. Greg Ayres' voice is very clear and has a nice ring to it.
bassist (H
And I know that singing in English as a Japanese person must be very hard work, but the personal effort doesn't matter if the finish product turns out to be unsatisfying.
I'm sure people worked very hard making the Twilight movies, but that doesn't make them good movies. It makes them shitty movies paved on good intentions.
This version is ok, I still prefer the English dub though. I just can't get used to this accent haha.
if they not using the word sister would be better lol
nassally? Enjoy the music lad :/
WTF!? the dubs aren't that bad. you're all saying like its the worse things in the world.=/
I listened to the english version... that's sucks!
Original is much better
what in his mouth?? LMAO!!! jk I love japanese ppl
@sanfanucci I love you. Make love to me for understanding.
Damn elitists. Can you not just accept two different version or views? You remind me of people that argue of religion or politics. They think they are right no matter what and do not care regardless of another's opinion. I like both, why can't you just do that same? If you don't then stop putting down another version to feel you have a superior view.
Br0adHead When you rip on people putting other people down by putting both down. Jks
Dubs are so hideously unnatural sounding.
i actually liked the english dub more... DONT RUIN IT FOR MY ASS
i hate the english dubs!!! THIS IS THE SHIT!!!
amoooo
FUCK YEAH BOTH VERSIONS ARE AWESOME, NOW EVERYONE SHUT THE HELL UP!!!
However Chiba will forever be better than Koyuki >D
