This dispute is highly complex with layers of political and religious perspectives, hence to try and over simplify it by making it one or the other is pointless. Palestinians are in a terrible position, no doubt, but violence/resistance will never achieve them anything. At the time of Indian subcontinent partition most of the population at both sides were indigenous inhabitants of the lands they were living at, while around 12-13 million people migrated to both sides. It is a different scenario as compared to jews migration from all around the world to a land which was at that time a British controlled area formally controlled by Ottoman empire. So claiming that Palestine was just a piece of land ruled by no one as a state/country, local people solding their lands aimlessly is a lame excuse for mass jews migration. Knowing the fact that before British rule it used to be governed by Ottoman empire so what's wrong if it was not an independent country. it is not a good justification to handover a big part of land to dispersed jews around the world just because there is so much empty land so you can live here. This dispute is highly complex with layers of political and religious perspectives, hence to try and over simplify it by making it one or the other is pointless.
Palestinians are in a terrible position, no doubt, but violence/resistance will never achieve them anything. Their only option is to surrender and accept Israel and live under their rule as peaceful obliging citizens, and try to educate their children and compete intellectually, not militarily!

And accepting 2 state as solution was also difficult for israel too as yitzghak Rabin the Israeli prime minister (who signed Oslo accord with yaser arafat ) was killed by a Jewish religious extremist.

Oslo accords didn't have an official two state solution and none officials ever signed one.

At the time of Indian subcontinent partition most of the population at both sides were indigenous inhabitants of the lands they were living at, while around 12-13 million people migrated to both sides. Hindus, Sikhs and Muslims around the world did not migrate/shift to then divided Pakistan and India. This inter-migration continued for few years.
It is a different scenario as compared to jews migration from all around the world to a land which was at that time a British controlled area formally controlled by Ottoman empire. So claiming that Palestine was just a piece of land ruled by no one as a state/country, local people solding their lands aimlessly is a lame excuse for mass jews migration. Knowing the fact that before British rule it used to be governed by Ottoman empire so what's wrong if it was not an independent country. it is not a good justification to handover a big part of land to dispersed jews around the world just because there is so much empty land so you can live here.
Despite the similarity that Pakistan and Israel are founded on religious basis the two nation theory for both states had different targets.
