Thank you! I'm turning 70 next month. My husband of over 8 years left me the day before Thanksgiving. I was in the hospital with COVID. The day after I got home from the hospital, he became upset because I was too sick to do anything for him. So he made plans to move out, I didn't stop him. I've been enjoying my time alone, but have been feeling old. I needed this video. ❤
I don’t want to bring people down, but I am 77 and my oldest child Kym, 56 years old, fought cancer for years and passed away Sept 3 2024. She was my best friend. I am still grieving very badly and it’s hard every day. I found your channel a few days ago and I love you and your videos. I have been inspired by you to start wearing makeup everyday. In the last few months, I didn’t even want to change my clothes. I want to thank you for your videos and your talks. I can relate to so much. Thank you
I completely relate to this, only in reverse. My mother was my best friend. She passed several years ago but I still think of her daily. My heart is with you. Welcome to our community. ❤
@@doloresdesmond9604 I understand that loss. Loaded my son...and only did the necessary for 2 years ....laid on the sofa all other times. Up people sure are healers! Just know you are not alone! This lady is very inspiring!
My heart breaks for you. I’m glad you found Patti’s channel. I’ve learned so much from her wisdom. Our 21 year old son had brain surgery in August and then needed radiation. We are praying for a good MRI in a few weeks. A mother’s heart is so full of compassion for another mom’s journey.
My uncle was doing 99 pushups at age 99. He was in an assisted living place, and he wanted to plant a garden. He had always gardened, so a friend came and plowed him up a garden area. The place even built a bridge in his honor going to his garden. He gardened til past 100 He lived to be 102..
I am 69 years old and blessed to be fit and healthy. My sons (both in their 40's) asked me to come up with something special that I would like to do for my 70th birthday later this year. After some thought, I called my youngest son, who lives close by, and told him I would like to go to a climbing gym and maybe have a couple of lessons and try it out. He laughed at me and said "seriously Mom, that's something you do on your 30th birthday, not your 70th!". When I phoned my oldest son, who lives across the country from me, and told him what I wanted to do, he said, " Hell yeah, Mom, count me in!" Guess where I'm traveling to for my 70th birthday..... lol Never too old!
Isn't it funny how our kids are all so different. One is just serious, the other more fun and risk taker, doesn't mean the other isn't a good son, he's just the serious, careful one.... just go and have fun on your 70th, tell your other son to come along too. Have a great time ❤❤
I'm amazed that I will be 87 in two weeks. That's old and pushing 90 but I don't feel old. I'm blessed to be in good health, agile and active. I think we pretty much feel the same, hopefully a little wiser. We are who we are! May your new year be filled with good health and love. Happy New Year.
72 and feel fantastic Workout 6 days a week volunteer once a week teaching English At age 70 received my B A degree My favourite thing of all is being a granny to 5 amazing grandkids Life begins at 70!
Donna I try to walk 4 times a week for 40 mins 5 times a week at home follow Sheila Fowlers's Fabulous 50's workouts Easy to follow all very doable and effective She's Australian and the sweetest lady on UA-cam Never wore sleeveless clothes for years Now enjoy showing off my toned arms and shoulders
2:24 So true! Thank you and thank you again! I’m 37 and have been struggling with waiting so long to go back and finishing law school and feeling like it’s “too late,” that competing with students 20 years my junior would be tragic. All because of my own negative thinking! Well, no more! Last month I decided that next year I’ll be enrolling in law school and pursuing my dream!
At 72 I've been feeling pretty isolated. This video has given me hope! So many bright ideas that haven't seen the light of day. Time to change all that! Thank you.😊
Patti, this topic is so vital for older women. I have always been optimistic and full of life. But now at 82, I found out a health problem that has set me back. Plus my husband was diagnosed with some form of dementia. In the past two days, we lost 2 friends, to heart attacks. I’m wondering was next. But, it’s a new year so we are going to live the best life, God gave us. You are one beautiful lady, inside & out!
@@lanajackson3730 I am 82 and know there are things that I am no longer able to do. I am grateful to be here!! Getting dressed nicely, and putting on some make up makes my whole day feel better!
Davids wife) I am 75 years old and recently bought a radio station in our town that hadn’t been used in years. We have remodeled it and are waiting on our license (which sometimes takes years) I want to start a UA-cam channel about starting a radio station. Only 6% of women own radio stations in the US.. thx for your encouragement! Love your channel..
This isn't a poor me message so I must explain why I'm replying to your message. April 30 will be my 2 year anniversary of having 2 stokes. I am so very fortunate because my speech was not affected but my walk was unsteady. I had always walked with my precious dog for approx 30 mins daily. When I was released from the hospital, walking was not an activity I thought I could do safely. So I physically and mentally stopped. Fast forward to your video today, and I stopped talking myself out of walking and began looking forward to short walks with my precious dog with "I can do this attitude". Your words have been very inspirational in your videos and today something clicked for me. Stop making excuses and just go for it! Thanks for the pep talk :)
At 55, I am waaay more comfortable in my skin than I was at 20, 30 & 40's. I had more looks and less confidence. Today, I have less looks but lots of confidence!!
I am now 82 and my husband passed away in 2023 and to say I have learned a whole lot of new things is an understatement! I am with you in that I put on makeup everyday as it just makes me feel put together. I do watch U Tube for many things because it has so much information!
I AM ALSO 81, BUT AM TOLD THAT I LOOK LIKE A 65 TO 70. EVERY DAY, I PUT ON MY PLAIN FACE, AND I CALL IT MY CANVASS. BY THE TIME I AM FINISHED, I LOOK LIKE SOMEONE ELSE, AND WHEN I GO OUT AND ABOUT, I ALWAYS GET A COMPLIMENT. IT COULD BE “I LOVE YOUR LIPSTICK OR I LOVE YOUR HAIR. (BY THE WAY, I WEAR A GREY WIG 365 DAYS PER YEAR AND EVERYONE THINKS THAT IT’S MY HAIR). I DO THIS FOR MYSELF AND NOBODY ELSE, AND IT MAKES “ME” FEEL GOOD. I RARELY EVEN GO OUT. I WATCH YOUR VIDEOS, AND YOU REMIND ME OF MYSELF. I ALSO TRY SOME OF YOUR PRODUCTS AND EXPERIMENT. YOU NOW HAVE ME COMPLETELY HOOKED ON THE “ELF” FOUNDATION. I LOVE IT, AND IT IS NOT EXPENSIVE. I LIVE IN CANADA, AND THIS PRODUCT IS JUST A LITTLE BIT MORE, BUT NOT EXPENSIVE. YOU ENCORAGe ALL OF US, AND I THANK YOU. I WISH YOU A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR! LOVE YOU FROM FAR AWAY.💕
I started kayak fishing at 53! I adored it,but as my husband had his life being stolen slow from his disease process I haven't given up on a long list of dreams just shifted them about a bit to care for him now at 9 yrs into his condition..Bird watching becomes so much more interesting from a kayak. I have had manatees surface under my yak and spin me in a circle. Mama manatees curious, allowing babies to come up and tap my yak, pelicans looking for handout or wanting to rest a spell on my yak .nuthatches sit and eat from my hand, so many gull species come and sit if your still...otters sit and / or sun bathe on the bow of my yak. It was so exciting ..your going to love it❤
I appreciate you being here. You are who I look to for guidance as i age. I am 62. My mom died at the age of 74 in 2016. We were not particularly close but not enemies either. I find myself without a guide to aging gracefully without her. Thank you for being here to help ease the way into being a senior.
I have a friend who is 76 and I’m 57, well you’re right, it’s just a number! She got me into a senior center in San Francisco and I love it but sometimes I have to push myself and so does she…she comments that she is so old and I disagree all the time but having the mindset that I can do anything helps and the fact, you won’t know if you don’t try it. So I’ve found a niche and yes I’m younger but I am a former soldier w/ptsd and the senior center accepted me as they take those with disabilities from 18-59 yrs of age.I was so tickled to be a part of the community with my friend. And it came to me, Patti, just when I needed it….I enjoy painting, choir, crocheting, socializing at lunch and playing games…so get out there ladies! Happy New Year! 🙏🏽🙋🏻♀️👍🏽Mia Something new? I want to take a trip on the train, sleeper car whatever..it will be an adventure on my own or with my friend hmmmm
So enjoyed your video and found it so inspiring.I am 88 and live in a small FL town, Punta Gorda. I have in the past 20 years since retirement, belonged to many groups, a quilting guild, volunteer work for St. Vincent de Paul and a Mah Jong group. Many of my friends have either passed or are incapacitated, or moved away to be with adult children. I have so missed them. When covid struck, I started watching UA-cam videos of watercolor painting and it’s become a passion. I will never be a true artist, but that doesn’t matter to me. I just plug along and keep learning. However, I have not found a group locally that I can join to share and learn from. Thank you for your posting.
Thank you love. I needed to hear this. I'm almost 45 and I have been getting soo many comments on my age lately. It's making me feel like I'm too old to wear makeup, too old to follow my dreams, or go back to college, too old to work out, too old to ever become a wife, too old to wear this or that. And I'm so tired of people focusing soo much on my age and my looks changing. Why can't they see my heart❤️. But what you've said here is soo true. And you are beautiful inside and out. God bless you!
Thank you I'm trying. I've also wanted to start a channel for years. And I don't have encouragement from those around me exactly the opposite. But you have encouraged me. I'm literally in tears right now because what you've said here every word touches my heart.
Something new I am going to try this year is pilates and a pottery class. I've been wanting to do that for so long. I've left my ex control my every move and my health issues get in the way and fear. But no longer. I found a shirt at the thrift store on the front it says I AM, on the back it says becoming her.
I think a lot of the problem is fear of what others are going to say, and I had that fear, but you really helped me. At 77 I really thought that it really didn't matter what I looked like. Thank for being amazing, and showing us that we matter, and don't have to just sit there letting the world go by. I have gutted, and remolded my kitchen by myself. Thank you for giving me that push.
I am 70 yo now. Started riding Harley’s (owned 3) at 50. I am not riding anymore, but I still find new things to do. I still wear makeup, fake nails, magnetic lashes. My husband & I are getting married in church February 15, 2025, our 40th anniversary, makeup & all. ❤
I have been thinking about this a lot lately. I am 68 and have somewhat of a disabilty. I am in constant pain and can't walk too much. I want to start the new year out with a better mindset. I want to take better care of myself. And do more of what i love to do. I will not give into this pain! Happy new year to you Patty! Love your videos. I have gotten so much out of your makeup sessions.i love what you said . You never too old to be the person you want to be! Love that so much
I am 46 and I have a lot of conditions that cause constant pain since childhood. I do really well walking in a pool, just wanted to pass that along in case it was helpful! ❤
Thank you Patti! I am going to be 67 this month and I am used to being very physically active and taking good care of myself. Three months ago I hurt my back, and the only physical activity that I have been able to do is walk, often with some pain. I have pretty much fallen into a depression and largely abandoned a lot of my self care and other positive activities. Your video and the turn of the new year are inspiring me to get up off my ass, move, eat nutritiously again and start taking care of myself. I have joined a 30 day online wellness challenge to get me going. Your video could not have come at a better time!
Thank you so much for the encouragement. I am 63, just turned, and been taking care of my Mother who is obsessed about dying. I have let her suck the life out of me and I feel old, worthless and as if I am just waiting to die-to old to do anything. I have lost myself and all my passions. But you made me see how ridiculous that thought pattern is that I am wasting my life. I used to write for horse magazines but lost my heart for that.i know God has more stories for me to tell and I need to get back to writing. Thank you and Happy New Year!
Girl..I feel your pain. Please, your momma has ben sucking out your energy, sorry to say. Don’t buy into the narrative, you are NOT too old and life not over. You are too young (that’s right) for that talk…pick yourself up and find your mojo. Take sometime away and remember who you are, please! 🙏
@tracysteward604 What you said is exactly my last 7 years. I'm trying to feel better. It's not easy. I'm 65 I am very alone now. Except for my beautiful cats 🐈⬛️ I just take my life one day at a time. Some days are better than others. Being a caregiver will suck every bit of who you are. I know. I can't find who I was. My mom passed 2 years ago. I understand.
You look gorgeous in that blouse, Patti. You eyes pop and - you just look great!!! Never, ever stop, please. You help us by motivating us to accept who we are and get excited about each day. Love you and what you do!!
I'm off on an adventure and going to live in another country at age 76. Am I too old, no live for the moment, live every second of it and do what you want to do. You only have one life so live it.
When I used to be a gym bunny (before the pandemic), I remember seeing an older lady there, she was very overweight but there she was….trying her best and not giving up. I really admired her for that and mostly for not letting other people’s opinions to stop her. I wish I had expressed my admiration but I didn’t want to come across and condescending.
Amen! Be the best you can be. I’m turning 69 this year and want to go into my next chapter with positivity, love, community and good health. Let’s do this together.
I was afraid to take scuba diving classes because I felt too old to do it at 72- I pushed through it and just finished my open water certification and a bucket list dive in Barbados- Just do it!~ take the first step.
We travel coast to coast each year putting on concerts as well as ministering in churches. Our only limitations are what we put upon ourselves. I know and have met many 93+ year old women that are very active in their lives. If they can’t drive they figure out other arrangements or have things at their home. My husband is 74 and I am 67. People many times ask us when we are going to stop this (we have done this full time for 19 years) as we are getting older. We say we were too old when we started. When the Lord takes us home or directs us to something else, we will stop. Not a moment before. Why waste your life sitting at home feeling sorry for yourself. We have one life to live! As an older person we have a lot of knowledge about alot of things. Enjoy your life!
Thank you! I’m 76.6 years old and since childhood have wanted to do ventriloquism! I’ve several puppets but have only ventured out about 4-5 times. I am STUCK in my head to develop short routines. I watch tons of UA-cam but in reality I lack confidence. I’m gonna make another try after watching your video! God Bless you! Here goes to 2025! Pray for me please.
I’m so glad that you decided to show me how to put on makeup. Before you, Patti, I never saw a young looking woman as yourself put on makeup and share with everyone your expertise. Thank you for being you and lifting us up.
Miss Patti, This is the best advice out there on starting off the new year with something new and encouraging! Thank you so much. I appreciate your wisdom and content!
Dear Patty, the beauty that you shine on the outside is a mirror of what is on the inside! Thank you for your candid words today as always, and I wish you and your family a blessed, happy new year! Let’s do 2025 the best that we can… Together! Your top that you have on what I can see of it is just beautiful. Would you mind sharing where you purchased it? Sending love and blessings your way! Paula.
what an amazing deep video. i am 74 and still teaching pilates everyday, at times i am amazed at my age, but i am going to stop thinking that snd just continue full gorce💪
You are such a great lady. This has been very helpful. My hearing has been pretty much gone and I’m thinking of getting a chockear implant. It’s really kept me from being social. I’ve said no to so much. I’m an artist and I really want to get back into it socially but my hearing has kept me away. Your talk has made me think twice and I thank you. I am in my 70’s.
Thank you i am 70 and was feeling very old. I lost my husband 3 yrs ago. Ever since i became a widow and had to move to an apartment i really don't like. Because my other building got sold. I really felt i was old and being a widow didn't help. I didn't even know how to be a widow. I lost all my dreams, activities and desires. You have helped put some spark back in me. Thank you just think your the greatest.
I feel so very fortunate to have accomplished the two things in life I most wanted to do, and in their order of their importance : to be a mother ( and now grand mother ! ) and to be a flight attendant. I raised my 4 kids, then at 58 yrs. old became a flight attendant. I am 60 yrs. now and still flying. Seriously ladies, write that book, start that UA-cam channel, be that flight attendant ( I am not the oldest FA out there ! ). Go for those dreams. Patti, I would love to hear about your stewardess days . And also just exactly how you found yourself at Graceland and with Elvis ! Thank you for encouraging us.
So needed to hear this! Thanks ❤ I’m 52. Five years ago I survived breast cancer. I’m well now but my whole life changed and it has been crazy! Thanks and Happy New Year!
With age comes wisdom, and with wisdom we carry our beauty with grace. Embrace your “older” self. I’m healthier, smarter and feel more beautiful than at any other point in my life. Turning 60 and looking forward to this beautiful chapter of my life. You really are a rock star, Patti. 💝
I finished college and started a new career at age 50, began landscape painting at age 60, and at age 64, I am learning how to create digital art. I still work full-time and have 7 grands. I'm a busy bee. You are so inspiring, and I love this topic. ❤
What great timing! I turned 75 yesterday and had some pretty big health issues this last year. This has really affected my mental health. Your video helped me remember the gift of aging with love and pride. I need to remember to embrace those wisdom tracks that are appearing in my face and body. Thank you so much.
I thank God everyday for your videos. You cheer me and validate my thinking. Most of the people that I know have given up. I hardly think of my age except when I get asked how old I am (81). I feel happy. I'm relatively healthy and do all I can to stay positive. Life is short and it's meant to be lived and enjoyed so that's what I do. Thanks for this beautiful upbeat message. Happy New Year to you and your beautiful family.❤
I get a lot of it from my daughter in law. I’m 73 now. She complaints about her mother dressing to young & she’s almost 8 yrs younger then me. Always ask why I’m always dressed up? Why I ware Jewelry in on and on and on I finally got to the point that I stopped wearing make up to stick my hair up in a bun and that was it. I lost all my self-esteem just feel down all the time I need to snap out of this has been going on almost 5 years and if she’s never liked me, so I kind of just stay away from him just take my grandchildren and go.
I knew I loved you!! I’m from Pensacola but have lived in TN for years. I go back every year! I’m only 42 but this video was so inspiring. Found you last year and I admire your genuine videos! I’ve gleaned a lot about how to age gracefully and embrace it! (Plus all your wise tips)🥰❤ much love and put your toes in the sand for me!! ❤
I am 85 and I do travel by myself. I travel to London once a year. And I play bridge every week ( twice) with great people. I also belong to a Saturday night ladies dinner group. We take turn closing the restaurant. And recently started playing a brand new card game with a group at the main building in the senior community where I live. I live in a villa which is a part of the community. Love it 💜❤️💕
Patti, I listened to one of your videos posted on 11/24/24 and it was exactly what I was just saying to myself on that day and so I wrote it down about the importance of being yourself and I so appreciate the conversation you chatted about. Thank you, and I am a 51-year-old woman. You are a lovely person, and your husband is a blessed man. Take care.
Love this video! You are so inspirational and this topic was so timely. I'm 73 and had heart surgery last year and for the first time I felt old. I'm a painter and forced myself to do 2 craft shows. Hurt my leg hauling things back and forth and became very despondent and haven't picked up a paint brush since November. Your video hopefully will be the kick start to get back in the game. I too amd looking for some girlfriends. Here's to new friendships and adventures in 2025! Thank you.
Happy and Healthy New Year!!!! IAM never too OLD for anything! I try to be smart in making decisions but never stop myself from living my Very Best life.!!!! Don't stop enjoying your life.!!!!!
Oh my gosh! I love this video, I enjoy all of yours but this one hit home. I’ve always been told that I’m this or that to wear, how I wear my hair. I’ve been knocked down so much I’ve completely lost myself!!! 2025 I’m gonna try to be me!!! I’m 76 need to be me . Thank you sweet lady for all the encouragement you have provided us! Love and hugs!
You’re right Patti. Do what makes you feel good. I watch Crushing your 80s with Nanny and Moosie, they’re 87, and she does makeup, life’s ups and downs. They’re doing extremely well. Age IS just a number. Live your life, your dreams. I’m 72, will be 73 in June. I’m into fishing, cleaning, fileting, and cooking fish. My spot? Is an opening in the woods. I call it “Gump’s”, you never know whatcha gonna get. W wildlife everywhere. Deer, frogs, muskrats, swans, ducks, birds & butterflies of all kinds. So peaceful, relaxing. Heaven on earth.
Ms. Patty you are so amazing such a beautiful human being inside and out! 71 yrs on the planet and grateful to God for it all. Thank you for your videos and all your inspiration. I learned many different things on the computer some things my Son showed me and when he got married I started trying to do and learn different things I wanted on my laptop and it felt so good everytime I learned something new.❤ Happy 2025 ❤
You are such an inspiration ❤ love your energy ♥️. No, I have never stopped doing or wearing something because I think I am too old for that... and never will. Purple hair, blue makeup, teenage clothes, sparkly shoes 😂 whoever hates me, let them hate me even more.
Well I am nearly 77 and think I am one of the oldest ladies in the GYM! But luckily can still lift some weights to keep the muscles strong. Can’t lift as heavy as used to do. The most important thing at our age is just keep moving do and wear whatever you love. Your videos are FAB Happy New Year to you and your family and keep making these wonderful videos ❤ by the way writing from sunny Spain ❤
Hi Patty. Thank you for your show. I am 61 years old . Twenty years ago my husband traded me in and it was brutal. It was years of him and her using the children as some sort of pawns in a sick game they played. Three years ago I had a mental break down at work, ambo, and although life hasn't been bad it hasn't been a smooth ride but I certainly have let my self down. I hope that when I reach the age of 80 I have the spark and intrest in myself that you have. I will never be as beautiful as you as I never feel worthy. I guess what I'm trying to say is that you should never feel old. Your body and the things you could do once upon a time has changed but that just means we do all those things but just a bit slower. You are amazing and beautiful and I love your hair when it's down. Thank you for showing me how to do make and beauty.
Currently knitting, which I need for relaxation. Looking forward to getting more time for other needlework and crafts. Wish we all had a Belle group to join!
Awwwww Patti, I’m almost 67 and I so love listening and watching your videos, I’ve even followed some of your great tips and ideas with makeup that have made such a difference. you’re such a wonderful inspiration to us all, and you’re beautiful. I don’t feel my age at the moment, I look after myself because who else is going to do it after all. I’m just grateful at this point that I’m healthy and not on any medication.
Hi from France, happy to see you and I wish you the best Patti for the new year. I agree, Never too old! Since I have been retired I go to my aquagym club 4 times a week, it was new for me, I love that I have some new Friends and I have started some english lesson in a club 1 time a week. That’s my new Life and I am so happy. Bye Dear Patti and take care.❤🥂✨
Patti, you are amazing and an inspiration! I am turning 65 January 14 and honestly it was so scared. I keep thinking omg I am officially OLD! But, now I’m think just what is that supposed to mean? So, I’m doing what I want, when I want! And wearing what I want lol and I’m wearing my hair the way I want! We have one life to live so live it the way you want! Happy New Year 🎊🎆
I turned 60 last year. I retired early to take care of my Grandson. I quickly fell into the “Grandma” persona. I stopped wearing makeup, I started wearing t-shirts and jeans, and a ratty pair of tennis shoes. I have had purple hair since I was 50 but wasn’t keeping up with the fun side of me. After watching your videos my hair is now a more vibrant purple, my wardrobe has become more colorful, and I am feeling much better about myself. Thank you so much for these inspirational videos. ❤
Thank you for this post and the push to do something new - it's such an easy trap to fall into. I enjoy your videos and find you very inspirational and a wonderful example of aging with grace. Thanks for being uplifting too!
Hi Patti, I go to the gym 3x a week and wear whatever I want, and never feel like I’m too old to do anything that I want. We should not let our age dictate what we do or what we wear. We need to live our life and do what we want regardless of our age. I’m in my late 60’s and I will always do what makes me happy and wear what makes me happy.
Thank you for the encouragement! I'm getting ready to turn 39 (I know it's not old in the grand scheme of life) but it has really been hitting me hard. I feel like I'm not where I want to be in life. I'm hoping that this year I will start selling online and learn how to do all the things that come with it. Thank you again for the encouragement! 💖
What an inspiring video for me and at just the right time! I am going to start going on bus tours by myself. I am a little fearful but I want to do a little travel and see new places but my husband has a hobby he shares with his friends with motorcycles. He really does not want to go on bus trips. I am going to try it!
Thank you for the sound advice. You are so inspiring to us older women. You are so attractive for any age. I’m 74 years old and still like makeup and different hair styles. I embraced the gray hair and stopped dying my hair. It took two years to grow out and cut off the dyed hair.
Thank you for a wonderful video. I will be 77 this year and have always been of the mind that age is just a number. Hopefully your video will reach many women who can again believe in themselves. Happy New Year to you and Jim
I turned 75 in November and for a second I thought "how did I get this old", but I learned from my Dad who was 96 when he passed that age is just a number and it is so true. If I can think of something I want to do my age has never stopped me. I learned to do my own acrylic nails, learned to ride a horse when I was 60, I garden and learn about flowers, I always wanted to play a piano so I took lessons, I'm not great but I play for my own enjoyment. My latest thing I am learning to do with help from You Tube videos is to learn how to shuffle dance and do the Running Man steps. I read, take walks,I have a few girlfrinds to lunch with. Life is what you make it and age has nothing to do with it only the limitations you put on yourself.
Thank you for this Patti! I'm 75, working full time, love skin care, style, make-up, and lose patience when I hear friends say "I'm too old for....". to which my response is "who says?" I love your spirit, am so glad I happened upon your channel, before Covid. You ARE truly a rock star. Happy New Year! I look forward to seeing you this year☘️🍁🎈🥂
Thank you for wonderful thoughts and advice. I think I’m one of the late bloomers who was an ugly ducking, especially in jr high, and had no knowledge of how to use make up to be pretty. I think I’m one have blossomed into pretty as I’ve aged to 72. And thank goodness Patty, there’s a you! Suggesting, teaching, demonstrating and certainly just being so beautiful. I can certainly vouch for knitting as a hobby and once you’ve completed a project, you feel very accomplished. But, there have been other crafts through the years that I’ve also loved. Keeping active and busy is a must-I keep my 50 year old RN license active and I work as a private duty nurse for a few patients. It’s always going to be in me to be in nursing. We all need to nurture our Faith as well-I worked in hospice for 3 years and I could tell you many things.
Patty, Yahoo! You are so good. At 75 I am teaching a Senior Fit - Strength class for an hour. It’s great and I really like it. I started weight lifting and my bone density improved 17%. I feel like doing new things; however, I am having fun at what I do. I really don’t need to do something new; because, my days are new and different every day! Thank you lady,
I’m 83 this year single since 1975 travel overseas alone stay on my own navigating the language walk 2klm every day do shopping in local market carry home food in backpack wear nails and lashes dress up each time I leave the house inside I feel 16
I love this lady! And she is beautiful at 81.
“When I look better, I feel better, I do better” is so true for me as well.
Happy New Year ❤.
Choose wisely next time but living alone is lovely!
@AnneMarieNicol I lived alone for a long time before I had met my husband. I'm definitely staying single this time. 😁
Not a good man its better to be alone.😔
Hope your New Year is better!
I'm so sorry. That's beyond awful.
God bless you. Peace to ur daughter.
@@doloresdesmond9604 I understand that loss. Loaded my son...and only did the necessary for 2 years ....laid on the sofa all other times. Up people sure are healers! Just know you are not alone! This lady is very inspiring!
I am so very sorry you lost your beautiful daughter. I can relate to the cancer. I went through pancreatic cancer. 💜💜💜💜
When I phoned my oldest son, who lives across the country from me, and told him what I wanted to do, he said, " Hell yeah, Mom, count me in!" Guess where I'm traveling to for my 70th birthday..... lol
Never too old!
Isn't it funny how our kids are all so different. One is just serious, the other more fun and risk taker, doesn't mean the other isn't a good son, he's just the serious, careful one.... just go and have fun on your 70th, tell your other son to come along too. Have a great time ❤❤
This is amazing! Have a great time climbing!
Praise the Lord Girl!!! My grandma was running circles around my mom when she was 87.

"We are never too old to live our best lives." I absolutely love this statement, and it is so true!🥰
Thank you.😊
Almost 70. I promise there lots of life left in us. Happy for you. Live life smiling. You are worth so much! ❤❤❤
It’s getting old. Every video harps on age. I’m 73 and have stopped watching every single one.
I need to read all of the inspiring life affirming steps y’all have taken. Thank you for sharing. Thank you RSMon
Way to go. You can do this 😊
At 55, I am waaay more comfortable in my skin than I was at 20, 30 & 40's. I had more looks and less confidence. Today, I have less looks but lots of confidence!!
So good to find you again. You helped get us through covid years. I am 73 and I'm getting married this year. Thank you and God bless you!
@chaseabrams6731 congratulations on your being a bride 👰♀Hope all your dreams come true in 2025 🎉🥳🎊
Fabulous! Congratulations
❤congratulations
How exciting! So thrilled for you. Congratulations to both of you 🕯️
That is so wonderful. I turned 75 the day after Christmas. I haven't even had a date in the 21 years of being alone! How did you meet Mr. Right?
I love this. I’m 62, I’m moving back to the city I grew up in. I’m going to get out into nature, hiking, kayaking, bird watching and traveling.
It was so exciting ..your going to love it❤
Let's move together ❤
I am 76 this was so well said! there is a abundance of us older women that needed to hear this 💯 God bless Thank you
Can we be penpals rose?
I always remember this : " you don't stop dancing because you grow older you grow older because you stopped dancing"
Coming from a dancer this is definitely true❤
Thank you love. I needed to hear this. I'm almost 45 and I have been getting soo many comments on my age lately. It's making me feel like I'm too old to wear makeup, too old to follow my dreams, or go back to college, too old to work out, too old to ever become a wife, too old to wear this or that. And I'm so tired of people focusing soo much on my age and my looks changing. Why can't they see my heart❤️. But what you've said here is soo true. And you are beautiful inside and out. God bless you!
It’s a number. Don’t let them bring you down!..p
Thank you I'm trying. I've also wanted to start a channel for years. And I don't have encouragement from those around me exactly the opposite. But you have encouraged me. I'm literally in tears right now because what you've said here every word touches my heart.
P. S. You are the most beautiful vibrant 81 year old woman I've ever seen in my life.
Something new I am going to try this year is pilates and a pottery class. I've been wanting to do that for so long. I've left my ex control my every move and my health issues get in the way and fear. But no longer. I found a shirt at the thrift store on the front it says I AM, on the back it says becoming her.
❤
You can do this. ❤❤❤
@ Thank you so much for your encouragement!
@ God bless you and thank you! I will find my mojo! Happy New Year 🎊🎆
I caretake many generations in my family and I have a lot of complex health issues. I am so glad you found a spark! You shine ✨️
@ God bless I hope you find your spark. I cannot even imagine the stress you are under
@tracysteward604
What you said is exactly my last 7 years. I'm trying to feel better. It's not easy. I'm 65
I am very alone now. Except for my beautiful cats 🐈⬛️
I just take my life one day at a time. Some days are better than others.
Being a caregiver will suck every bit of who you are. I know. I can't find who
I was.
Wow…..You are amazing ❤
Wishing for you the best life always…..
I go to a gym and at the time I go there are lots of 'mature' ladies working out.... great to see that.
Me too 73
That sounds so cool! I’m praying for your confidence!
I’m so glad that you decided to show me how to put on makeup. Before you, Patti, I never saw a young looking woman as yourself put on makeup and share with everyone your expertise. Thank you for being you and lifting us up.
Thank you Patti- we all needed to hear this💕💕💕💕
Miss Patti, This is the best advice out there on starting off the new year with something new and encouraging! Thank you so much. I appreciate your wisdom and content!
What an encouraging video for the new year. Thank you Patti! You look beautiful today!❤

Thanks ❤
I’m 52. Five years ago I survived breast cancer. I’m well now but my whole life changed and it has been crazy!
Thanks and Happy New Year!
My FIL will be 87 next month and his question to everything is- “What can I do, physically, to work on whatever is failing me?” He’s in great shape!
Love this!!
Can we be penpals 😊?
I love your videos. You are always so eloquent and entertaining. You give great advice.
You look radiant, Patti!! Thank you for the encouragement!! God bless you in 2025!!❤️❤️❤️
I get a lot of it from my daughter in law.
Take care.
New Year Resolution: Be happy where you are!
Thank you Patti- we all needed this reminder!💕
I love the way you think, beautiful woman. ❤
I love your videos and your message is so important.
YOU ARE SIMPLY LOVELY!! Continue to be an INSPIRATION to people regardless of the age of your viewers. 💝💝💝
Happy new year beautiful 😊
You are such an inspiration ❤ love your energy ♥️. No, I have never stopped doing or wearing something because I think I am too old for that... and never will. Purple hair, blue makeup, teenage clothes, sparkly shoes 😂 whoever hates me, let them hate me even more.
You're such a delight Patti! Thank you for being so inspirational.
Thank you, Patti! Truer words! Happy New Year to you, Jim, and Biscuit!
Patti, I absolutely love you and your channel. We are never too old to start something new unless we are dead. 😆 🤣. Have a happy new year. 🎉🙏❤️
YOU ALWAYS INSPIRE ME.... THANK YOU AND I'M SO GLAD YOU FIGURED THAT CAMERA OUT...
May you have peace, love, and happiness as we usher in the new year!
Thank you 😊
Thanks for this post! I am 66 and have really said “I’m too old” I have started back to the gym again! Love you so much! You’re such an inspiration!
What a blessing you are! Thank you! I want to watercolor. I have the supplies, I just need to get started.
Thank u patti from Liverpool uk, this really resonates with me im 63 and feel so much older , but my mind is 21 ❤
What an inspiring video for me and at just the right time! I am going to start going on bus tours by myself. I am a little fearful but I want to do a little travel and see new places but my husband has a hobby he shares with his friends with motorcycles. He really does not want to go on bus trips. I am going to try it!
Thank you soooooooo much for this video. Your humility and encouragement are a light in a sometimes difficult world .
Good better best, never let it rest. Until your good is better and your better is best. ❤
Happy New Year! Health, love, wealth, and the joy of life! Many, many new videos!
I ❤ you!
Thank you for this encouragement. I’m so happy you have found a group of ladies to do things with. Sounds like fun!
