Hey brother, my audio is at 100% and i still struggle to hear... Maybe my hearing is just shit, idk, just wanted to let you know 😁😎 Thanks for all the effort you put into your videos, really helpful 🤙
first of all - thank you for your positive words :). 2nd I think when I rendered that video a screwed up the audio by accident, but now the video is uploaded, I guess it is what it is :D wont happen again, I promise.
Thank you as always Greg - but yeah with the constant rain going on here, I had to come up with a way of producing meaningful content :D I thought about doing something like "Analyzing (famous surfskater) without them asking me to" :D haha
if you take clips of yourself skating u really should focus on the right technique. In both clips flat and the bowl your own technique is wrong and more beginner like. I would recommend you to take a clip of someone really good at surfskating like loski and take him as an example and not yourself. I would recommend you to also practice your stance and work on your compression because you don't go low at all before a turn. Also your back knee isn't really bent in at all. You are standing straight through out the hole turn! Your analysis isn't perfect but not to bad in the end :) keep up working on your technique and you will get there soon :)
thank you for your feedback and honest analysis. however I do not agree fully there. As most of my audience are mostly pure surfskaters and not using it as a means of surf practice, the compression through a turn in the flats is not of essence. But as I said I thank you for your open words and will consider this in the next video.
@@ChrisGenau sure it does. Sure you can role through a turn with no technique but the right technique how to ride a surfskate stays the same. it doesn't mater if you just surfskate or you do it for surf training. Also I didn't mention surfing with a word xD there is right and wrong technique and no offense but you how the wrong technique for surfskating in your clips. And for someone who doesn't know the right and wrong its not good if they look at wrong technique and try to replicate this. That's why I would really recommend you to first of work on your own technique and as long as you struggle with it take clips from really good surfskater like Loski, yoni_cadenas, danielaboldini and so on. I think in the end there will be more people watch your videos if you focus on the right technique and also show really good surfskate riding. Even if that means you dont use your own content. Also compressing and decompressing in flate surfskating is the keep to be able to do it in a skatepark. I teach surfskating my self and this is one of the moste important lessons people have to understand! It's super important that you dont skate your surfskate because of you do you limit yourself interns of how much seed and energy you get out of turns.
@@GOTTLuckyLuke I agree with most of the things you said - but if you watched the full video and saw my turn in the bowl, you would see that I manage to create and hold a very good amount of speed through the turn and am very focused in the explanation of compression and extension. But however I think you're too focused on perfection - this channel is not me saying "I'm perfect, do it like me" this is "We're all learning and growing together, and this might be helpful to you as it helped me in the past get better" and by showing myself I am being authentic and offering a perspective of where I am at. But as I said you're entitled to your own opinion and I respect that fully. I hope you have a good day 🤙🏼
Sorry for responding this late, but I'm currently on vacation :) Thank you so much for your words, that really really means a lot to me 💪 if you want to link me your own Instagram account, I'd be more than happy to tackle some of your clips and try to analyze them for you :) if I can help with anything else, just let me know 🙌🏼 Thank you so much again ☕️
@@abnormalprophet thank you for letting me know, I will look into that and make sure it isn’t a problem in the future :) Happy that you found value in the video

Volume ^^
Is there a problem with the audio volume? :)
@@ChrisGenau Yes. I'm up all the way and am still leaning into my speakers to hear you. Great info. Love your analyses.
@@abnormalprophet The audio does indeed cut from quiet to super quiet and back to quiet in the video.
