December 22, 2024 - Isaiah 11:1-10, "Peace Among The World"

In week one of Advent, we talked about hope or promise from Genesis 15:1-6. Abram completed a mighty victory after saving Lot, his family, and multiple others. Abram worshiped and tithed to Melchizedek. Abram is told by God that he will not be childless. Out of these verses we were challenged and promised the true Son of God, Jesus Christ would come through the Abrahamic line.
In week two of Advent, we talked about the preparation, waiting or prophecy that was talked about in Deuteronomy 18:15-19. The people of Israel did not want see God in the pillar of fire and did not want to hear His voice. God tells the people that He will raise up a prophet. God will communicate with His people in a way that they can see, touch, hear and understand. The future preparation for a prophet would be Jesus Christ.
We are now in week three where we will talk about the joy or peace that will from Jesus Christ. May this message bless the hearts of His hearers!
