@kichitanu66 Many years ago on a Saturday night I went around to my friends place for tea. Afterwards we watched the news on television and it came across the news that a major pop music event was taking place in Japan. They showed the massive stadium from the outside and Japanese crowd control and the date was 4/04/1978!. About 7 years ago I got friendly with some Japanese people and they told me about the "Pink Lady", so I looked them up on You tube. When I searched for them another group called the "Candies" also kept coming up. At first when I watched them they looked very ordinary compared to the spectacular "Pink Lady". Then one day I was watching them sing a Pink lady song and all of a sudden i could see it! They were so fantastically and wonderfully feminine and I just burst into tears and cried my eyes out. In a split second I came to understand what " Candies Forever " was all about. Then one day I saw the stadium and the date 4/04/1978 and I remembered what I had seen on the news back in 1978. It had been the " Candies Final Carnival " Japans " Concert Of Concerts", Japan's first mega concert. Over time I have grown to appreciate the Candies talent and their songs. I have had several T-Shirts made for me here in New Zealand with pictures of the Candies on and one of the Pink Lady.. I can email photos of them to you if you wish, I think you will find them very interesting. The main way I communicate with people in Japan is by using the Japanese program "Line" May The Candies Live In The Hearts And Minds Of The Japanese People Forever!
It is so nice that you were in Japan in 1978,when the Candies held the Final Carnival concert. And I appreciate your favor and love to them. The Candies are Ran,Sue,Miki, and this year Ran is holding a concert tour through some cities in Japan. I'm going to join one of them in September. Last year,I also joined her concert, which was fabulous and heart-moving. Especially, the Candies songs were dynamic,powerful,heart-warming and made me cry in happiness. Again,I really appreciate your love to the Candies!

Wow! It's so great to hear people still singing Candies songs. I'm a 69 year old from New Zealand.
Thank you for your comment!
I’m so glad to hear from New Zealand. Candies is living in
our mind forever!
