Dan - this isn't fair. I watched this video and now I'm another 3K in the hole as I just ended up purchasing the Slipstream Mach 1 and the Torqeedo 403c. I just ordered the Burly Pro Steering upgrade and a blackpak from Headwaters. I'm also in the process of creating an UA-cam channel and totally enjoyed your videos. Keep up the excellent videos (even if it makes me go broke).
I started driving out to HWK last Sunday and luckily I check to see that u r closed Sun and Mondays. I’m trying to get out there soon for a stand up for fishing
Headwaters , the titan 10.5 and 12 has only 2 vs 4 predrilled holes, did you guys drilled two additional holes to tighten down the bottom plate? Thanks
2 questions: Yak Power switch panel is sitting on a right angle. What is that plastic casing? Also, is it Native Watercraft boonedox, or a standard one with longer legs? Thanks!
The plastic holder is a car gauge pod that you have to dermal out a little. The Boondox kit is the titan kit, so they come with the longer legs. I believe all new kits are coming with longer legs stock.
Hey Headwaters great vid but I have one question. So recently I had a buddy demo a Titan. He told me that he thought the gear track throughout the boat was plastic. Is this true? I've been deciding on a new fishing kayak for bass fishing and I love the concept of the boondox/native landing gear on the Titans for transport, but wouldn't this be a bad way to transport these boats if the gear track was plastic? I don't really have anywhere near me to demo these boats so I can't really see one for myself.
DinkMaster81 no he’s mistaken. All track on Native kayaks are metal. Boondox fits on them great. I do recommend using yakattack t bolts as oppose to the Native track nuts. They are stouter.
The transducer is mounted in the spot Titans have in the center of the kayak in front of the pedal drive hole. You have to drill a hole under the pedal drive cover to run the wiring into the storage and cover with a yak gear wire cover. The Plastic holder is a car gauge pod off of Amazon that you will have to dermal out a little to make controller fit.

Hey someone has to help spend your money. You will not regret any of those upgrades. Congrats dude!
Nice clean setup
Thanks Dan, the video came out really good. I need to come back down when you’re free, so you can try it out also.

California Bassin TV sorry we missed you! That’s our weekend. We are a small shop so we have to have those off days or we’d all go crazy.
Headwaters Kayak oh no worries man I get it. I’ll catch up with y’all soon
I wish you guys were in Connecticut.
Greg’s kayak !!!!
This is the 12, not the 10.5
Think u could make a video of how u installed the transducer

Does Slipsteam still make this mount?
SlipStream mount and Torqeedo can be found at www.easymountusa.com
Thanks..does it just uses the two holes for a 10.5 only or we bolt onto the rails too or drill additional holes?
Where do I get the lights from
Would really like to have a native Titan 12. What colors do they come in. I live in Pearland Tx. where can I get one.
How much do you guys charge to change out the steering ?
Hey dan. How tall is that titan. From the ground up. I'm wanting it to slide under my rooftop tent rack on my truck bed. I was thinking 12 to 13"?
would a torqueedo cruise 2.0 or 4.0 be able to work on a titan 13.5?
What’s the cost on it rigged like that without electronics
nice job Bam and Dan on a tricked out boat... Nice pedals you guys have a brand on those?
Taylor Quintero thanks man. Those are Race Face Chester pedals.
I want to get those led lights and the fish finder put on my husbands yak! What would something like this cost?
Ashley Rezado is have to research it. He purchased those things somewhere else. We just did the install. We charge by the hour for rigging.
How did you mount the transducer? Mine will not mount flush in the dedicated space.
Ryan Williamson We make a custom bracket. Next time I get one and I’ll take a picture for you
Are they for sale? I'm about to install my transducer, just got my yak today!
Would also love to see how you made that battery box. I have 2 nocquas.

@@HeadwatersKayak Hey thanks for the hasty reply and keep up with the vids I love them and thanks for clarifying that for me.
would Headwaters sale customized Native Titan 12 similar to this one and ship it to Arkansas ? looking for custom build Kayak like the one in video .
Sorry we don't ship kayaks. Just to expensive and risky.
i can understand that . Thanks for repy back to me . love your videos keep them coming .
Where did you mount the transducer? Also...what mount is that for the yak power controller?
The transducer is mounted in the spot Titans have in the center of the kayak in front of the pedal drive hole. The Plastic holder is a car gauge pod off of Amazon that you will have to dermal out a little to make controller fit.
Is it mounted flush? Mine won't fit flush with the stock mounting bracket. Or do you let it hang out a little?
Check out the l e video and you can see how mine is mounted. facebook.com/headwaterskayak/videos/1850028688351114/
Is that the stock transducer mount? They told me they use a custom one..that is what I am needing! Just got my titan 12 today :]
Ryan Williamson that is the mount that came with my Lowrance Hook2 9” tripleshot
how much did it cost
Outside the kayak itself how much would you say this setup costs.
DameSmith6 hard for me to say without searching price on a ton of parts. Several thousand though.
How much is the electric motor with mount? I have the 13.5 will it work on it?
Adriel Hernandez it would work great on a 13.5. Not sure of the cost but I’m sure it could be easily found online. We are not a Torqeedo dealer.
Headwaters Kayak wow I checked online prices are ridiculously expensive I’ll just stick with propel drive!
Bam check out #DakotaLithiumOutdoors for Batteries man ...
