This is my 3rd batch of the mini drop swirl technique, I really got a lot of fun making it. Super interesting!
The idea of lengthen the tip of squeeze bottle with drinking straw from Amy ( founder of soap challenge club) is really genius. However, my batter was a bit thickened, so the raindrops turned out so tiny, but still cute. I like it~

You make this technique (and all of the soap challenges) seem easy. I have seen other videos where they struggle to get it right. The teardrops on this I just love and I enjoyed watching you make it. Thanks again for uploading. ^^

All your videos are just amazing. But I keep wondering as to how the soap batter remains liquid till the time you finish your patterns though you use cocoa butter or palm oil which will bring in quick trace... Any tips here please...
Cocoa butter and palm oil will not accelerate trace, in my experience. Instead, rice bran oil and castor oil will. Try not to over stock blend!

This came out really nice. May I ask how far down do you take the squeeze bottle tip to make the rain drops.
Randomly, but start from about 1cm away from the bottom.
I love your techniques and really want to try this one but can't find hazelnut oil and apricot kernel oil. Can you suggest some easy replacements for these? I have olive, coconut, canola, castor and sweet almond oil only.
And I have lots of powdered naoh but not NAOH solution. How much should I use?
You may check my latest video, the recipe works pretty good for the swirl design.
The fatty acid composition of apricot kernel oil is almost the same with the sweet almond oil.

That’s just a common plastic bag. Sometimes I recycled them from dailylife, like the wrap of breakfast 😄😄

In case of using coconut milk, you will need to keep the soap insulated to keep warm.
