Hi Lostboy. Welcome to the channel! I guess that would be a much better replacement for coffee. I sometimes drink chaga tea instead of coffee, although I do like my coffee. 😉😊
Hi Sara. I don't recall the actual size of it. It's a 20 or 24 qt roaster. I bought the largest one I could find. I bought it several years ago at Walmart. And thank you, I had a wonderful day. I hope you did, too! 😊
Hi Munkey. Go big or go home is my motto in the kitchen! 🤣 I'm sure in about 10 years I may start scaling down. As far as sharing my pantry, I really don't care to. Let's just say, setting up a pantry like a mini grocery store makes it easy for anyone to manage. 😉😊
Thank you. I'm glad you're taking advantage of this as well! I ended up dropping off a quart of bone broth to my sister's, yesterday. She said she was going to have it for breakfast with some toast. As cool as it is this morning, that might not be such a bad idea. 😊
Thanks Mickey! And YESSS... I was wondering where you got that fat separator. I love how big it is! Gonna work on my turkey carcass liquid gold later tonight. 🤞😎
Hi Denise. Many people add vegetable scraps when making bone broth. I choose not to. You keep adding your celery and onions if you enjoy the flavor! I think I mentioned something about this in my last video doing bone broth with ham bones. Not everyone in my family cares for onions so I find it easier to do just the bones and meat scraps. I can add "extras" when I'm using the bone broth. 😊
I just finally ordered a 26 quart roaster. I’m a carnivore so I eat steak, chicken, etc.. everyday and save my bones. I air fried a full duck for thanksgiving and I boiled the carcass with my leftover bones from the freezer. I let it boil for two days it’s in the fridge now because it’s super fatty. I’ll skim the fat and can mine up. Don’t be afraid to mix bones yall. ❤️
Thank you for taking the fear out of it for me and giving me the confidence to do go ahead. My first batch of broth has been in my slow cooker for 42 hours. I went ahead and put it in even though I knew I was going to have a couple busy couple of days. I’ll be straining and processing it through it through the canner this afternoon 🦴🫙👍🏼🙂❤
Sandra, I'm so happy for you! 🎉 I just dropped off a quart of bone broth to my sister. She said she's warming it up for breakfast and having toast with it. 😊
I love my roaster for making broth. I have made many batches. The last thing I made with mine was apple butter. It sure does make life a lot easier.
Pamela, I agree! The roaster comes in handy for so many things! 😊
That is some good coffee just kidding been drinking it to cut down on coffee best snack also. Subscribed

Beautiful broth ❤
Thank you, Sharon. I'll be using some of it to cook rice in tomorrow! 😊
@OuttheBackDoor what size is the roaster? Hope your Thanksgiving Day has been great!

Damn, thats a BIG slow cooker. 😮😮😮. As a side note, You should do a video of Your pantry, just to show people the best way to lay things out.

I'm pretty sure I got it from William Sonoma many years ago, but I would think they would still have it. 😁
I have been putting celery and onions in my bone broth, but you just do the bones and scraps ?
