The crazy part is the store area was vacant for over 12 years and they just now turned it into a U.S. Cellular Phone store. I do miss Movie Gallery, but those $5 per night movie rental prices towards the end were a bit much .
I would really like to know why Redbox dvd rental didn’t make it over in the UK and I would like to see it all over the city’s in the uk as blockbuster is no longer and there are many people who would like to see redbox Dvd rental service in the uk as another choice other then Netflix and amazon prime as it’s cheaper to rent a dvd how many people will reply to this and feel the same way as I do on redbox dvd rental in the city’s of the UK.

i once got a fake CD.... this was when people would just scan the disk and replace it with a printed out paper disk. the lazer barcode reader was older and couldn't tell the difference then. i was so pissed!!! i actually ended up calling them, putting in a complaint and later was told to return the disk. once they confirmed the disk was returned, I was told I'd get a rebate on my next rental... the next day I recieved an email letting me know that I had a credit on my redbox account that would be applied at any kiosk on my next rental. my guess is they immediately put a hold on that barcoded disk. the kiosk manager was probably alerted to this, went to go confirm that it was actually a fake disk with the bar code... removed it... probably charged the OTHER guy's credit card the full amount of the REAL disk (because it was probably a stupid idea stealing a game when they have your credit card info), and confirmed my rebate. from what I understand, this scam is now impossible.... and if anyone was curious, it was a rental for the first DOOM video game on PS4 in 2016.
nope... those stickers are multi-parted... meaning they don't rip off as a whole, but in pieces. moreover, even if you could, the next person who rented that disk could fill out a complaint online for their money back. REDBOX would then have them return the disc to the kiosk. i'm guessing there would then be a hold on that disc so nobody could rent it out. once the kiosk manager can confirm that it is in fact a fake disc, REDBOX (using their rental history and audit system) would charge the thief or thieves full price of the disk with their stored credit card info, or call the police. i'm sure they'd probably just charge you the $30 for the disc.... this happened to me back in 2016... only someone scanned an image of the disk, printed an HQ image of it and returned that... keeping the real disc in the process. when I went to go rent that shit, I got the piece of paper. in the end, I got a rebate for a free rental, and I'm assuming the thieves got charged... because it's pretty stupid to steal from a machine that stores your credit card information for non-returns....

Blame the scammers who photo copy the real game and return it back to Redbox and will be a piece of paper with the barcode

People kept stealing the video games so Redbox had to shut it down.
