Like saying "ff7 remake is awesome!" And you go "but its a remake".
Regardless its all nostalgia. I dont have nostalgia cuz i remember it being a relatively fun but clunky and badly made game i rented and finished in 2 days. But thats probably because i was already 13 or 14 when i played it.
If you play it right now you will hate it as its clunky, unresponsive, kinda not fun and the story is ATROCIOUSLY Z movie like, like one of those asylum movies direct to vhs/dvd trash copycats like atlantic rim , transmorphers, titanic 2, snakes on a train, alien vs hunter (mmmm...topical. cool), avengers grimm etc...
AvP 2010 not only has a decent story thats told in 3 parts as you play predator, alien and humans, with each parts being awesome, but it plays the best predator and the mutliplayer was OOOOOOHH SOOO GOOOD. Its one of those mp games i will ALWAYS remember like spies vs mercs in splinter cell double agent and blacklist, mgs4's mgo2, warhawk, rainbow six vegas, resistance, battlefield 3 on ps3, cod4 (the remaster is complete trash and a whole another game, completely different), uncharted2 etc...
