Contrary to what most fans think, I personally like how Arteta isn't forcing him to start big games because in the long run it might actually be better for him. He's improved so much since his debut and we don't want to rush players like him onto the scene because there's a lot of pressure to take if he doesn't perform especially when now we are all about results and winning something major and the blame/scapegoating game is easy to do
bro that's what i'm saying. we've seen so many young prospects run into the ground like fati, and it's not like trossard is a bad player at all. gotta protect these kids man, especially someone so young
I agree with the big games. But Leicester, Southampton and maybe Bournemouth, were all good opportunities for him to start (in hindsight maybe not Bournemouth).
Slowly bleeding someone in, it's pretty common thing. A few exceptions where a kid like kylian or Francesco fibreglass could play every week, but most can't
@@t.g.s__7009 so a good balance. All I care about is winning starting on Saturday and hoping we've got as many of first XI back fit and available for selection. We owe them one for last season
Foden still did score a league saving goal at 18 years old. The City fans were never asking for him to start every week back then, it was just rival fans trying to create a narrative.
Everyone acting like these teens are stars. No, they're wonder kids, bleed them in, maybe there's an exception like kylian or Francesco fibreglass, most most aren't reasy to play 90min, certainly not regularly, against grown men who are way stronger. But yes, give him hame time against weaker teams when your up

@@aes1373 If you think Bournemouth is an easy game where we can win 90/100 games against them, you'd be dead wrong
Yes ofc and it doesn’t help when Robbie comes out and talks like this 😂
Robbie losing some weight? Lookin healthy man keep it up!
Stressing the body when it’s still developing is a dangerous game. Ask Jack Wilshere and Theo Walcott. They need to be protected from the media too.
Exactly , Pedri is only now getting back to the form he was in before playing 7 million minutes in his breakout season
Ya, they should play a bit u, but not very overplayed
Mate relax
Mattise spot on
Nwaneri Saka Odegaard Merino Havertz. Lots of left feet
Martinelli, Trossard, Rice, Jesus, Sterling - sounds about right to be, pun intended. i'd be moew worried if they were all the same one footed players
Sorry - forgot Partey
@@Christian62-kj8ug we have about the same number of left footers as right at this point lmfao

Arteta was at city when Foden, Pep held him back even though there was a clamour to play him every week.

@TP-pq9xx who knows Ethan could do the same
Robbie still can't pronounce ANYBODY'S name.. Wan-Yeri he said... seriously?

Democratic Republic
Ethan if I were you go on loan or something
Why lol
lol I’m sure spurs would take him !
Emergence? I Carabao match. Calm down lads. Typical overhype of a young English player who's done zip.
Or maybe praising a 17 year old who is Cleary talented.
