I can imagine this will be really fluffy, using both baking powder and whipped egg whites. I might try both raisins and dried cranberries in it. Dried blueberries might be good to try sometime too. I bet a bit of cardamom would be good in it too.

There are many legends about when and where Emperor Franz (husband of the legendary Empress Sisi) is said to have been served this "poor people's" dish and hence got this name. 😅
