I saw Connye Florance perform this song at the Clayton (NY) Opera House last night as part of the Clayton Jazz Fest: Jazz on the River. She is absolutely amazing, mesmerizing when she sings. The performance was a master class in how to perform a jazz song, and this original was a stand-out.
