    Wow, Messier talks like a true NHL champion fan. Incredible depth in his knowledge of the game. Start a NHL podcast now Messier! Would love to hear you talk about hockey once a week. Especially if you would go really deep into the game. I am sure Messier have a few interesting friends he could invite to his podcast also.

    Messier is not a tough-guy. He's a cheap-shot artist. Dirty player. In ALL sports, if you hit, elbow, shove, cross-check, etc., guys that aren't looking, you're a coward. It's easy to hit someone who isn't looking.

      up to a point Larry Robinson exposed him. He would not drop them against Robinson. Messier was smart! He would have been a miss match against Robinson in the tough department.

    Wow... he got through this without elbowing someone when they weren't looking.

    Although you can’t score nearly 700 goals with your elbows, the thought of ME connecting with your face gave Mark the space to score that many. In the playoffs, you feared ME. That WAS your “mental warfare”.

      great player! great leader. His kryptonite was Larry Robinson who stood up to him all the time. He would not drop them against Robinson. Therefore Mess was a smart player too! LOL

    Messier has lost it, the modern NHL Is full little sissies, remember when nhlers were men and not boys. Haven't watched hockey in years, same boring games over and over

      @@scottsears5545 John You can call him an aggressive player but not a dirty player. I like to be fair i didn't like some of his elbows shots. But once again his numbers speak for themselves

    This video has not aged well. A bunch of horrible moves since then means the Oil’s playoff stay in ‘17 was a one-off. Now they have to start from scratch again with a new regime

      @danski6694 4 роки тому

      James Hadfiled he didnt have to be probert. He had the toughest ever by his side. McSorley, Semenko, Dave Brown, Joey Kocur, Donald Brashear and many others.
