How to get a car into neutral if the battery is dead (shifter on steering column)

If your battery is dead and you need to get your automatic transmission into neutral, many vehicles have a hidden button that releases the shifter from Park. On my 2008 first generation Honda Pilot, the button is on top of the steering column. Look around and you should be able to find yours. Stay safe out there.
