Classifying the opposition today as KHAWRIJ is nothing but a blatant lie to mislead people, Khawarij has many important merits that all need to be met in order to classify a certain movement as Khawarij 1- They call for an armed struggle against the current ruler. 2- They misinterpret the scripture to justify their own ideology that is not known amongst the companions. 3- The ruler must be Shariea certified ruler who has given the legitimacy to rule in the same way the Khulafa Al-Rashidwoon have ruled, with election and Mubaea'a. 4- The ruler must apply Shariea law. So you need to really work very hard to apply the above to any ruler from today to classify any one who goes against the ruler as Khawarij, you can imagine MBS as Abu-Bakar, Omar, Othman or Ali, good luck with that..

What you mentioned in #numbers contains both truth with a mixture of baatil. First of all go and learn the methodology of early Khawarijs and the hadith & verses of Qur'an that describes who the current eras filthy, criminal, radical sadist terrorist, fanatic bloodlust rebellious, extreme Khawarijs are. It is mentioned in Taarikh Dimishq that if the khawarij were ever to have power over lands the roadways will be closed and the door to go to Kabah will be obstructed for the people to make Hajj.
