I discovered David quite late in my music life, and for someone who is into opera, now a good voice when I hear one, I will never understand why David never became an International Superstar, of the likes of Tom Jones, Shirley Bassey, to name but two Welsh nationals, a huge loss to the world, and an even bigger one to Wales, thank you David for giving me so much pleasure when listening to your voice - Gary from Barry

Never heard of this guy until tonight 20 Oct 2020 and I must say what a fantastic sounding voice , so powerful like Tom Jones voice , absolutely awesome voice RIP David
I had the pleasure of working with David on a number of occasions. Top bloke. I started plyaing his records while working on a radio station in Stoke and the people of the Potteries loved him. He is sadly missed.

He sure had a sensational voice! Such a beautiful timbre and so smooth. He was up there with Matt Monro, Joe Longthorne, Jimmy Roselli, and all the other unique great singers during his day. RIP

I first heard of this guy in Benidorm 20years ago.i was in a bar and the singer sang your the answer to everything. He must have heard me telling other customers del Shannon best song.he said that I was wrong and told me it was David Alexander. When I got home my wife downloaded some of his music, what a wonderful voice. Bless him.

I worked with David many years ago on the Pontin's circuit.I left to persue my career.Still chasing the dream......Saddly missed Dave....God bless

His voice sounds extremly like Tome Jones' and as Shirley Bassey he sang the Udo Jurgens (Austrian-German) -song. Listen to the original version of A l e x a n d r a and the younger ones of Marianne Rosenberg and Jasmin Wagner, you'll love it too.

It's not a good interpretation. He sings the song distorted. There are mistakes in the lyrics too. He may have a good voice but this song is not for him. It's as if he thought that just because the song is popular, I should sing it too. He can't give the emotion.
Brilliant singer,but the amount of bitter jealous people from the valleys who keep saying he was better than young Tom Jones are talking out of their arses! David was technically as good as the best,but Tom had an edge on his voice,and could go alto tenor,and was not the highest paid live singer in the world in his vegas period,because he was just ok!He was the best power singer in the world,but,because he made it,bitter tossers slag him off and side with David,as he is one of them,so no threat.
