Ben was my first Phantom live ever when I travelled to England in April with my dad. He made me fall in love with the show, making me the Phanboy I am today. Such an incredible talent filled with so much energy in every little detail
They really cranked up the sadness level for this show 💔 so blessed to have seen Ben twice and he was my first Phantom live. He is absolutely fenomenal.

Great synergy with Kelly. You could see it when they were on stage, together. This recording isn't Ben at his best and I felt the same way when I last went to HM's. But, in fairness, he absolutely nailed TMOTN like I'd not seen in many, many years at many venues. Just need Tim Hower to get through his initial 3 month contact and I'll be back. I hope someone grabs a bootleg in the meantime.
Great....now it just reminds me how I missed Ben while I went to see POTO on 10 of september...And what I got is a terrible phantom.... Please can someone release DVD of Ben Lewis or Ben Foster's POTO....
He probably saw Tim Howar. It would have been only his first or second week in the role. I avoid going to see the show for the first three months with a new Phantom. It takes that long for them to settle into the role. As far as I know, new phantoms get an initial 3 month contract before any extensions so they can gauge the audience reaction.
I saw Tim Howar ......and yes, better watch the show after 3 months so they'll have more experience.... It's really a shame I didn't catch up Ben Lewis's show...
He is my phantom! I can't understand the fuss about Michael Crawford, his voice was way too high for crying out loud! Ben's voice is perfect. I hope someone releases a DVD of him as the phantom so I can put it with my Love Never Dies! Also, I notice in the 25th anniversary performance they set it up more for Love Never Dies as Christine hesitated leaving and appears to be singing to him instead of Raoul. I hate Raoul! I would choose the phantom! Especially if it's Ben Lewis!
Michael Crawford sounds eerie, and he's a great actor, that's the fuss. I'm not being sarcastic. I get how someone could not like his voice but I think that's why his Phantom is considered so iconic.
Ben’s actually a remarkably subtle actor. The show tries to demand overacting, but he managed to subdue it into an incredible performance every time. He’s the first Phantom I’ve seen who hasn’t overacted. It’s a terrible loss, as he’s my favourite ever, easily.
I know this is taboo to say, but I like Ben Lewis a little better than Ramin Karimloo.
