I like that you have real monolids.. like when you open your eyes, half of your eyeshadow doesn’t show up because other monolid videos aren’t like this and it’s hard for me to follow those tutorials.

No. Not at all. I’m Korean and to me she looks totally different. I know you are complimenting but to some people, “oh you look like/your voice sounds like~(Kpop celebrity or someone I know)” can be rude. it feels good at first, but when you think of it later it feels like you are a copy of someone or you are not unique. Everytime I watch a video Asians comes out, there is always a comment like this(you look like BTS or blackpink or if they can’t think of someone, oh you look jisoo and rose had a baby) and it feels offensive to me, even tho the youtuber is OK. We(asian like her, Lia, me) all look different. Well People can’t tell the the difference if that person is from the different ethnic group.

I know everybody’s been saying this but I really appreciate someone with real single eyelids, not double eyelids, do a video without taping their eyelids. You really helped with my struggle of putting on eyeliner and half of it not even showing because of the fold.

Coz, i also have monolid eye. Cant do crease eye, smokey eye, halo eye. Everytime its just eyeliner, Dark and intense one. Smtms i use shadow just like your way. Thts the only way. Your line hit hard. Hahaha

I love this!!! I never got into make up but now I feel like I need to be more professional and my mono eyelids really made it hard for me to do anything. All the other tutorials involved using the double eyelid sticker or fake lashes but you did it so naturally!!! Thanks for the video and tips! Cute video. Lovely natural look. I like how you accentuate the mono lid, instead of trying to pretend something else. Heated eyelash curler, the best investment an Asian girl can make. I use the Surrat manual curler to get basic curve and then use the heated lash curler after applying mascara to get serious curl that lasts until I take the mascara off. I gave up on false lashes but use Lash boost for really nice, long, thick lashes.

Finally I found someone with the same eyes at me. Literally. Some yt tutorials claim to be monolid, but has a big ass lid line showing (If you get what i mean). Or maybe we are not monolid we just have no lids at all....I been trying to look at CL’s make up look and try to learn from it, but now I can rest from it. ~.~ Thank you so much!
