I did it, except for plugging in the electric. The male and female parts of the plug aren’t lining up. They’re close, but still not aligned well enough for me to plug it in.
I quoted at an auto shop, $230-280. I was going to pay, fortunately I didn't. Today I bought a mirror on eBay, $60, and just watched this video, sooooo easy. Damn those auto guys.

I have a manual mirror, but the basic set up should be the same. I"m ordering a replacement mirror and do it this coming weekend

Great video! I bought a good used one on eBay for 40 bucks and swapped it in about 5 minutes.
