      Хорошее видео.
      Понравилось то что в видео есть всё.
      Продемонстрирована сборка.
      Продемонстрировано испытание.
      Также ты проверил до какой глубины хватает давления.
      Даже добавить нечего.

    I see a lot of half-arsed DIY videos, but this one actually shows some knowledge. It's the little things, like roughing up a surface before gluing, or properly measuring the stroke, and even testing the results properly, that make for some quite impressive videos.

    UA-cam suggested this for me so I watched it and gave this project a try. I made some of my own modifications and I think I could actually use this to make a crude airbrush setup. Instead of using silicone for the membrane pieces, I used pieces of a normal party balloon. I also cut a hole in the top of my chamber and siliconed another balloon in the hole so I would have a bit of a reservoir. Overall I'd say this thing is pretty decent for low volume low pressure stuff.

  • @sinsilius
    @sinsilius 5 років тому +1

    Nice and neat, but the performance could be improved. Your cylinder is too large, relatively to the travel or stroke. The large volume of air inside compresses and that's why you get only 10cm of 'depth'. Try stuffing the chambers with something solid like balls to take up as much volume as possible leaving paths for the air and try

  • @JawaazAhmad
    @JawaazAhmad 4 роки тому +1

    You should cut the fan blades or make space for airflow otherwise it will cause unnecessary air drag and force on fan motor.

  • @AlexIstEinGott
    @AlexIstEinGott 7 років тому +1

    Maybe i will try this out. But im gonna use a small motor from amazon with 15000 RPM. Will that increase the airflow?

    • @dial2277
      @dial2277  7 років тому

      It is important not the number of revolutions, but the torque of the motor. To force the water column, it is important to have a number of amps in the cooler. It takes a lot of effort to overcome the resistance of the membrane. The greater the depth of immersion of the tube in the water, the more forces must be applied to the membrane. Better 1 amp and 1000 rpm than 0.5 amperes and 2000 revs. Do you understand me?

    Автор, а если дополнительно сделать камеру для вентилятора с выходом на впускной клапан? Конечно производительность +- такая же, а вот сила насоса увеличится. Как идея?

    • @dial2277
      @dial2277  7 років тому

      Не совсем понял) Если производительность будет такая же, то не имеет смысла. Крутящий момент кулера слишком мал. Из всех написанных комментариев я понял, что нужно сделать маленькую рабочую камеру и поставить другой мотор.

    To increase pressure fill the space somehow behind the membrane. Now you have a very small displacement with a very big cylinder. In best case the two volumes almost the same. Then only the motor will be the limit. :-)

    • @dial2277
      @dial2277  7 років тому

      The simplest and most effective to buy a new device. If you want to do yourself, then you need to consider some of my mistakes. I did everything from scrap materials. Buying only the connectors and silicone used to make membrane. All links you can see in the description. Motor is better to take more powerful, even if it will be less rpm, but the torque should be higher, so he could easily move the membrane. A conventional computer fan is very high speed, but little torque, so it is sometimes not enough effort to overcome the resistance of the membrane. I hope you understand me. The working chamber should be as small as possible. Ideally, the amount of incoming air must be equal to the amount of escaping air. If it is a good motor, it is possible to increase the stroke of the piston. This will allow for 1 cycle to pump more air. These are the basic guidelines. Good luck!

    а скорость вращения кулера влияет на производительность? и будет ли лучше с оборванной крыльчаткой? или использовать воздушый поток от кулера каким либо образом?

    • @dial2277
      @dial2277  7 років тому +1

      В данном случае скорее нет, чем да. При увеличении расстояния между рабочей камерой и кулером, производительность насоса падает в ноль, а кулер начинает бешено вращаться. При сближении ход мембраны увеличивается и он начинает работать отлично, но возрастает нагрузка на кулер и так как он не рассчитан на большой крутящий момент, может остановиться. Думаю без лопастей будет лучше. Кто-то предлагал использовать воздушный поток для охлаждения аквариумной лампы) или что-то наподобие)) Всё же я рекомендую использовать другой мотор, который выдаёт бОльший крутящий момент. Именно момент тут намного важнее, чем обороты.
