- This is a revised version of the video file loaded on 12th June 2012. The initial scene is dated 1958, not 1956.
Sri Ma is seen in Calcutta, and also in Varanasi for her 60th birthday celebrations in 1956. There are further scenes showing a visit to the ashram by Indira Gandhi, Naimisharanya, Ananda Kashi , and the Mahayagna in Kankhal in 1981

I was in Almora vidyapeth winter time we was in vrindraban or Raipur Dehradun 1960 till 1967 with we sing bhajan with Ma . I was Lucky blessed by Ma.
The few hours I spent with her in 1970 changed my life. Jai Ma.

I had a memorable spiritual experience.of Shri Ma in Chennai in 1971, still lingerng in mind.Had the privilege of listening to " हे भगवान " bajan of Shri Ma.
We have lovely memories of time spent with Shree Maa. Those were very serene moments of our lives. We feel her presence all the while. Jai Shree Maa.🙏🙏❤️.
I cry in my head not having knowned her, this luminous person, when I was young. I am so sad for that. Lovely Ma. I love you so much. ❤️💖🙏🙏

@@Mrbrbusby I will do a ceremony end of April, because I can't go to one of her Ashram in India for her 125 th birthday. I will put many of her pictures and candles on my livingroom and meditate on her with LOVE as many people for sure, in India and in the Earth this day.

It is at that point through conscious daily practice that one will perceive Ma, awaken Her in the lotus of your heart and become one with Her. This awakening can only be described in the words of the Apostles when they realized that Christ was speaking the truth when saying Believe on Me and thou shalt have Ever lasting life. Had read about Maa Anandamayi in Swami Yogananda's celebrated book. Never realised such a reincarnation of Bhagwan was physically present during our own life time. Missed seeing her in her physical avtar. Being able to see her in this video compilation is a blessing by itself. Pranam 🙏

honestly. its such a deal-breaker.
they have complete control of their body. and are reported to have done tremendous tthings in ttheir life.. and they have crooked teeth and glasses and look like an average old person.
your body is resembles your thoughts..
so why the crooked teeth and bad skin and glasses.
i want to believe in these avatars, and then I get let down by such obvious flaws.
its heartbreaking to think which ones are real or not or if none are real.

maybe you cant understand my view point correctly.
i myself corrected my dad and many friends vision by simple exercises of the eyes (muscles).. coz many eye issues are muscular laziness..
when I was 20 I realized the mind-body connection... how easily the mind controls your own body (slowing or quickening the heart, etc).
i used to have chronic tonsilitis (every year) and finally I learned how my mind and will power can shrink my tonsils back to normal size and avoid gettiing sick.
i havent had a full cold or cough for about 6 years now already. whenever I feel a cold coming, I use my mind to shrink it to a tiny size and then it goes away. (so fast and easy for me to do).
Sadhguru says (in his books and talks) that he healed his own asthma and mended a fractured ankle within an hour (using his meditative willpower in his mind).
the feats of the mind and deep meditation are incredible.
so when you see a yogi wearing glasses, it certainly raises doubts.
i disagree with your answer totally. you are not seeing the same perspective as me and my experiences.
i am just a regular guy that aspires to use his mind and has personal experience of the powerof the mind. and I am nothing in comparison to a Yogi.
Yogiraj SatGurunath Siddanath said (in one of his youtube videos that he recognises Guru Anandamayi Ma as the only Avatar on the planet. When he met her, he said his hands passed straight through her feet (and that she was spirit). if you read Autobiography of a Yogi, you will also read some very large stories on similar subjectsof abilities of Yogis.
while I personally am quite reserved and unsure if I can beieve all these stories. I do have my own experience and i can guess that yogis have a great deal better use of their mind and energy than myself.
so, when I see a famous yogi wearing glasses, it definitely doesnt look right and doesnt 'fit' the pattern.
easybullet3 it is good that you rely on your own experiences rather than what others say but it looks like you're very much caught up into the beliefs of the mind which sees bodies with defects that need to be corrected through certain practices of the mind. If you see what you think you see, this doesn't mean it is real- everything you see and stick labels onto is all mind made up stuff; drop your mind out of this and you'll find that seeing is the only real experience. More over 'seeing' is also a label of the mind- if you remove it, it remains only the knowing of the sensation- this is the Truth. Mind power only operates in the realm of the world/body-mind but cannot access the truth, i.e. sat-chit-ananda.
These holy people that you call yogis... i don't know how much of a physical practitioners they are but i know for sure that it was not the body they were concerned about but unity with all [yoga means unity]. Crooked teeth means nothing to them- their focus is on existence not on the illusion of forms.

yes, I do agree with you on that particular point.
focus of a yogic spiritual life is not on the physical body.
it matters not if teeth are broken crooked and bones bent and eyes failing.
but also I am aware that they require a straight spine in order to facilitate a good current of energy up and down the spine.
so they must have some sort of appreciation for maintaining their body to some basic kind of level.
also: i think its possible that a sick and suffering body is less desirable than a healthy body.
i think most humans can agree that chest pains, leg pains, headaches, digestive issues are a hindrance to their life.
and to be free of all pain allows one to pass easier through life.
if I can be logical,, I would assume that bad teeth and bad eyes in a yogi shows that they are not physically perfect and one can only assume that a yogi with bad teeth can suffer dental pain as much as any other human.
if their eyes are bad, they need their glasses (thus proving that they succumb to phisical woes).
this leads me to think that they would be having other 'regular' pains (heart, muscle, chest, digestive etc). which would get in the way of their meditation.
have you ever tried medita8ing when you have pins and needles in the legs? or something uncomfortable?
one gets the urge to make oneself more comfortable.
i would assume that a yogi is also getting ailing age pains too.
i think the glasses suggests they are not free of pain.
I see the glasses as an indication of something bigger.
i know the physical body is not everything. but freedom of pain does help the mind to be more relaxed and easy to focus.
and the fact that they wear glasses does show that they are also subject to pain and organ failure, thus disturbing their daily comfort level.
and surely an 'avatar' would choose to be pain-free, rather than to have pain?
i know its impossible for me to ever know the real truth of what goes on inside these Yogis minds.
When I have a good meditation,, my skin and energy is glowing.
its an amazing flow of energy (when the meditation is a good one).
anyway.. i'm rambling now.
i dont know if half the yogis are real or fraudulent.
but at least they act as a good source of information that hopefully inspires us to reach the goal :)
If you are worried about your body, you are not an advanced soul. Period!
It is also said that advanced souls take the karma of their close devotees on to their body. Ramana Maharshi did it. I am sure Ma too did it.
