My very first album i ever bought as a kid was 'its about time' their debut i remember replaying 'Weak' on cassette so many times and wanting to sound like them they look incredible
@Buddha Fortune im from new zealand we only get to see what American broadcasters send us which is not much lol we never had nor do we still not have access to watch BET music awards or any of the black artists shows or inside scoop so thats why its such a huge deal for us. We look up to black artists as the golden standard in music in sports in comedy or acting basically everything they do is amazing

I used to record weak from the radio lol practice dance moves with my sisters to their songs and to this day SWV is my absolute #1 favorite group . Their vibe,energy ,realness ,and not to mention they're from my city NY baybeeee lol . Love them 💕

I saw SWV in concert 2 years ago and they were phenomenal. I'm an SWV fan for life and no disrespect to Xscape, but Xscape has way too much drama, egos and fights.

Don’t do that because when SWV had their show, CoKo was doing the exact same thing as girl from Xscape and the other two members was having issues with her. It just CoKo got her meds for her bipolar behaviors and is happy now.
I can’t stomach the disrespect these ladies have suffered at the hands of Xscape and their fans. I like Xscape but I avoid all their interviews and music as result of their ‘headlining’ foolishness.
I wonder if Destiny's Child or anyone close to them has publicly acknowledged SWV mentoring them as children. DC former members may not have a contractual agreement to do anything for SWV, but acknowledging them & a music collaboration would be great. It gives me some insight into why modern-day artists don't help each other without a contractual relationship.
