That looks so cool! If it is truly a British beach then I think you need to add a Lego man with a metal detector 😂
Excellent point!
@@blockpartyukand a couple of red “burnt” characters (I’m sure there’s been some red aliens at some point you could utilise 😆
love giddy kev being giddy
You’re putting together a great looking city. It’s got a lot of everything.
the shoreline is soooo good. incredible work.
Thank you! Cheers!
As someone who grew up at the (British) seaside, I think you have got this looking great. You are rightfully proud of it. Once the pier is in place it will be perfect! Idea: Any plans for an Amusement arcade? Maybe on the pier? Something I really associate with my home town growing up in the 70s and 80s.
I love that! I'm not familiar with British beaches directly, only through pop culture, but I think you have a lot of fun ideas to work with.
i know it might be a little late, or quite possibly not feasible now, but removing the upper bit where the park currently is and having the whole thing (beach and park) on the one bottom level with alot more depth might work really well and give you a lot more room to play with. maybe having a slightly raised bit at the back section like you have with the built black raised part would work to give the things more visibility towards the back too
The downside to that (and I’ve considered it) is I sacrifice a big chunk of the second train line and lose the spot for the new train station
the shore line is looking good!
Ferris wheel on the pier is a really good idea.. could even go full Santa Monica with some small thrill rides in extension of the fun fair “upstairs”, with a pirate ship as a MOC pirates of the Caribbean experience
Might be worth putting the lighthouse in the bottom right corner and seeing what it looks like! It has a blue sea base so wouldn’t look out of place slightly out to sea away from the mainland like most lighthouses are! If you wanted to could also build a rocky area leading up to the lighthouse 😊
'IVE JUST SAID I NEED A PIER! SO WE NEED A PIER! IGNORE PIRATE SHIP!' made me laugh so hard xD
It was a little clue into the how the inside of my head works..
10k imcoming. Really enjoying this journey
I dont think youd be able to do it due to lack of space where the road is but if you could lay some coastline next to it you could turn the road section into a waterfront if you added some railing.
Dude that looks epic. I've gone for a bricksie style water and tiled it all off.
That’s pretty cool how you done the sea and the beach looks like a 3D print congratulation on the sponsor let’s hope we see more off them so this Chanel can grow more
Thanks!
Looking good
Will the town and beach have a name?...'Bricks'am comes to mind. Any other suggestions? 🏖😃
At some point. Need to come up with a good one.
The shoreline is so good. I’m really impressed.
Thanks!
Not liking the lack of a shark fin out at sea..? Very poor from you, 10/10 will not recommend to my Aunties neighbour who lives in Croatia
Think you need to ditch the Marvel sets. They are great but don’t fit into a ‘regular’ city
💯
They’re the one thing I can guarantee will always be part of the city!
I have the lighthouse as part of my everyday decor. People don’t realize it is Lego.
The ferris wheel would look good on a pier as looks right size
Loved it and yes I think I agree with others, a pier would be nice, keep up the amazing inspirational work
Maybe you use walls between the road and the beach like a normal beach. That way maybe would be easier. The bech coastline looks awesome well done 🙂
There’ll probably be a wall there, and an extension of the promenade
This looks sooo good! Just wanted to say your Channel is super cool & keeps me inspired for my own channel. I'm brand new so kinda rusty but keep up the good videos. Keeps me inspired :)
Hi kevin chapman thats looks so cool and will look even better when finished enjo the build maybe see if you can get the lighthouse in somewhere or get maybe a smaller one off thats sets, do you have fishing boats for the sea too overall looks amazing good work there kevin chapman keep smiling From Julie
That shoreline looks great. Looking forward to see the future developments
Looking good. Perfect display area for the upcoming Jaws set!
You probably already know this but just be careful - green tea has caffeine! I found this out the hard way when I drank quite a few cups one day hahahah
how about putting a stone retaining wall between road and beach. and rhen add a fisherman on the wall
Maybe the new Jaws set on the sea? 😅 🦈
With the tones of grey brick you've bought, could you not do a little wall between the beach and the road.
Almost certainly
Do you mind me asking how much something of this scale City would cost?
Wouldn’t like to try and work it out. A lot! Multiple thousands
Whens the fish and chips shop being added 😅
When I have all the parts I need for it!
I've never really been a Lego fan, other than the occasional set I had when I was a child. I don't think I ever will be, but I can't help but watch these videos. I've followed you on all your channels (except the football manager thingy, not my bag 😂) for many years now. These Lego builds really appeal to my adult ADHD brain. Keep up the good work 💪🏼
You could try using dark tile for the wet sand next to the water and then the dark plate next to the sand so it looks even more like the waves are lapping the shore. Looking really good though and look forward to seeing the progress 👍🏼
I think it would be cool to add alot more ocean on to the bottom level and then raise the promande so it's level with the theme park area, basically making that top level into a pier with a fun fair.
I need lots of sand though!
It's happening. Nice progress. How tall are the legs for your raised platform?
I would guess about 6 inches?
@@blockpartyuk thanks Kevin. I'll be in London on the 27th. Gonna try and hit a LEGO store or two. :)
Hi! Good looking shore line, I might apply this technic in my beach.👍
Go for it!
Thanks to your youtube channel , lego has become my special interest again🤣
Wow that really does look brilliant. Great work!
Thank you! Cheers!
Look at our boy getting an sponsor for this vid 🙌🏻 so happy to see this channel growing, keep it up dude 🙌🏻
I appreciate it!
@@blockpartyukshoreline looks awesome, too 👍🏻
As passionate as you are about this, you are breadtube farming.
Holy Drinks are amazing, energy and ice tea for me. I regularly have the energy with the lion, the black panther or the cobra. Apple and Green Tea for the Ice Tea. The shakers are great too, actually work and get rid of the powder. Cool sponsor!
They’re really nice! I was reluctant when they first reached out because I’m not usually a fan of stuff like this, but they sent me the box and it was all great so I had to work with them!
