There is this amazing band called "Steel Panther", that I have never seen any vocal coach proffesionally analysed. Would be awesome to someday see it on your channel ;)
Here's song suggestion from live performence, the video on youtube is called: "Steel Panther - "The British Invasion" Teaser #1 "Party All Day"", where British Invasion is name of the concert, Party all day is name of the song, so it's not song teaser, it's concert teaser with full song in the video.
They are heavily influenced by bands like Def Leppard, Van Halen etc ;)

Rick Allen designed that drum kit himself after his accident where he lost his arm. The story is so inspiring. Amid severe depression and suicidal thoughts at the realization that he would never play drums again, he determined that he wasn't going to give up. He designed and had his own, one-of-a-kind drum kit built and went on to become one of the most iconic rock drummers of all time.
Also, not only this song, but their whole album "Hysteria" was huge and still is one of the best rock albums of all time.

RIck Allen controls a series of pedals with his left foot to do what he'd normally do with his left hand. It's truly impressive. What's also impressive is that his band mates stood by him and supported him in his decision to want to continue, no matter how hard it was. It's such in inspirational story. Small side note, original guitarist Steve Clark was still in the band here, Viv Campbell (who was Dio's original guitarist) replaced him after his sad death in 1991...

I will always be a fan of Def Leppard. Not only is their music great but the fact that, during the height of their popularity, they put everything on hold while their drummer re-learned how to play the drums after losing an arm in an accident. It's unheard of in modern times to see a band have that kind of loyalty to a member. Any other band would have simply replaced him and moved on making more big money. I was so, so happy to see their success picked up right where it left off when they returned. Props to everyone in the band for being patient and keeping the big picture in focus.

Well, not a single word during their entire set was intelligible. I didn't even know which songs where which. I assumed they were coked out of their minds and was a sign of what was to come next. Was it a waste of time driving 5+ hours to watch this concert? Aerosmith came out and was fannnnnnnntastic. Perfection. And Steven Tyler was amazing out doing this cartwheel insanity on stage. Complete black & white difference between the two bands. Rock stars and rank amateurs. On his last day at his "day job" before becoming a full time musician, Tony Iomi cut the tips of the fingers on his left hand off. Took him some time to come back. When he finally started playing again, he down-tuned the guitar to reduce the tension on the strings and make it less painful. Geezer down-tuned to match, and the rest is history. AC/DC's "Night Prowler" is basically a Sabbath tribute, and they down-tuned for that one.

At the time, it was Steve Clark, not Vivian Campbell. I see lots of people talk about how they put everything on hold when Rick Allen lost his arm. They also put everything on hold to encourage Clark into rehab. Ultimately, his addictions killed him after rehab, but unlike so many bands that throw a guy like that out when he starts being unreliable, they stood by him and did everything friends could to try to get him help. Vivian Campbell was Clark's replacement after he died.

That's his trademark. He did it with AC/DC first, and many others after this. Really, one cannot overestimate the strength of Mutt Lange's contribution to the sound of the 80s. He took so many bands to the top with his sound, and then the dozens who later emulated them.

I look at it a lot like how ABBA was treated. Just because you're making stuff that doesn't sound overly complex and is just a fun time doesn't mean it doesn't take talent.
I think hair metal got such a bad rap after a while because too many people latched on to the "latest thing", and a lot of bands got one hit wonders because of a cool name or look with one catchy hook. Now that time has passed and people can sift out just the ones that were good musicians with solid writing it's helped recover the reputation of the genre.

@@joeponce9053 Hysteria is litterally their only Hair metal Album, i'm not sure what Adrenalise is but it's not Glam Rock. Slang has eastern influence, Euphoria and X are mainstream rock, and at that point you're 20 years removed for Glam rock anyway

So glad you finally did a Def Leppard song!! My absolute favorite 80's band (well, them, Van Halen, and Aerosmith). Great catch in noticing the Queen influence. Queen were one of their biggest influences, and many people have labeled Leppard's sound as, AC/DC meets Queen.
You've gotta do Live Bites next, or Hysteria or Animal.

Looking forward to seeing Def Leppard analysis. Hysteria was one of my favourite 80’s CD’s, bought primarily for Love Bites but I absolutely loved the whole album. Would love to see an analysis of Love Bites too.

Can't say enough good things about these guys. Despite all that life has thrown at them, they've never lost their passion for everything about the biz. This album was a milestone in so many ways and a masterpiece. Check out "Love Bites" for some great vocals and harmonies.🤘

Elizabeth, firstly, you are a great reviewer. For someone who listened to this for the first time, you actually nailed everything they were trying to do with the song and the vocals. You have a great ear.
In terms of Def Leppard songs to do next, there are so many great songs from them. But in terms of vocal/harmonies to analyze, here are three I would recommend:
    - Animal
    - Love Bites
    - Photograph

I had the privilege of seeing Def Leppard on this tour!!! Let me tell you the concert was quite the experience. First off, it was the first concert I had seen "in the round" where the stage was in the middle of the venue (in my case the newly built Thompson Boling Arena in Knoxville, TN) instead of at one end. So all the members of the group were running all over the place, not just back and forth. At the time this was their "Radio song" and was getting a LOT of airplay. This video was shot later in the tour and was not out yet. So it being the hot song at the time, in the concert it was extended with a large call and response section pitting different areas of the arena against each other for the loudest. It still stands today as one of the BEST concerts I ever attended.
On a side note. The group that opened for them was "Tesla". A great but under appreciated group from the late 80's that I think you would very much enjoy. Check out their first single "Modern Day Cowboy" as well as their biggest hit "Love Song" both are great and I think you would have a LOT to analyze.
I love what you do and I hope you keep doing this for a long time. I have been looking forward to your analysis of this song and as always you provided a great analysis. Keep up the wonderful work. P.S. I am a photographer and really appreciated the photo of you in the tub of M&M's. I love it when people can step outside of their comfort zone and create something memorable.

Joe is one of my all time favorites. I've heard him say that when he writes lyrics he chooses words and phrases that sound good together more than creating a coherant story. And Mutt's production on this album is just so rich and thick. There is an old VH1 "making of" for Hysteria that is fabulous. The lads pride themselves on their background vocals and regularly push back against accusations of using sequencers live. They are still touring. At 64, Joe obviously doesn't sound the same as he did at 24, but he still brings it.
