Lawn Mowers for Kids | Learning Yard Work with Kids | Mowing the lawn alone! Lawnmowers and Kids

Harrison just turned six and he's ready for winter to be over so he can mow the grass all by himself. But it's not the first time he's used the lawnmower by himself.
We got our Craftsman M260 lawnmower a few years ago ( • Kids and lawnmowers - ... ) and Harrison has already shown, even as a toddler, that he can use it by himself. But he's getting closer and closer to doing everything alone -- just still has trouble with the pull cord!
As usual, we had to make a detour with the chickens before we could do anything, but once they had some yummy new treats (Black Soldier Fly Larvae from Grub Terra) he took the lawnmower around the back (and was bummed we only got leaves in the bag!).
We also did a little jump back in time to show the first time he ever pushed the "big" lawnmower by himself! What a difference a few years makes! This kid was born to be a lawn care specialist/gardnerer/lawnmower man!
