Watching this in 2021 and still sad that there is no Ocarina of Time Link Figma. Give us a quality version of this character already

@@cuperoussulfide396it’s weird to me that figma restocked BBTS with skyward link that came out 11 years ago but didn’t restock twilight princess link that came out 6 years ago skipped BOTW link but made TOTK link which is fine they are practically the same but haven’t made a ocarina of time link (kid or adult ver)
World of Nintendo has oot botw and sky I think that’s all other than toon link
World of Nintendo also has deku link 8 bit and dark link but dark is just a repaint of oot link

I wanted this before but you have single handedly made me want this three time more with how good this review was, I only saw photos but seeing this on video makes it stand out way more
Hey anthony i can't get that little piece on the end of the sword of it's really stuck on there so i am unable to let him hold the sword do you have an idea to fix this? Or anyone? Plz help
I have this Figma and over time the color of the pants and tunic has sort of faded so it's not as bright and vibrant as it was original. Any tips for restoring a figure's color? Thanks
Would you consider making accesories for this figures? like the slingshot or the hookshot from the game?

Great review. I'm having difficulty removing the bottom of the sword though and I've even dunked/soaked it into warm water like you suggested and it won't budge. How much force did you have to use to get it off? I'm scared of breaking it. Thanks in advance.
I have the figure. How do you loosen the end of the Master Sword to allow Link to hold it? I have put the shield on him.

Somehow there's a chip of metallic paint missing from my Master Sword. Considering you do a great job at painting figures, is there any technique or paint you'd recommend for me to use to restore this missing paint?

Where did u get yours cause where I got mine for preorder (toy wiz .com) they aren't being shipped till January
I tried the hot water too from tap, and still stuck (5min.). I finally decided to grab a thick cloth and grab the bottom part, twist gently then pull. Make sure to firmly hold the quilion (guard) and grip with your other hand's thumb and index. Finally came off.

@AnthonysCustoms hey man do you know if on the elbow joint it can be detached?? Some lady is selling this figure but the arm is detached on the elbow and I don’t know if the figure is broken or not.
why risk it? theres no reason for the arm to be disconnected?

hey! question for you: does the top flap (the part that tucks into the box) of your figma box say "Figma 135" or "Figma 153"? mine says 135 and i was wondering if that was a typo, considering that everywhere else on the box says 153

Hey Anthony you think I should preorder this from Gamestop and save 50 dollars or order it on ebay? Cuz I think you told someone that the distrubutors had problems with the distribution once you think it can happen again?
I got mine in, and I wanted to ask if your Link's necked happened to look like it might have come up a little extra? I've removed the head maybe three times, and I noticed this, wondering if it's just mine, or if that's just how it looks.

Would you be able to say its luck that you can get a good figure? For example in the past I would buy a figure and the hinges would be lose and the paint job wouldn't be that good, but my friend who bought the same figure would get much tighter hinges and a better paint job

You say in this review that the figure comes with two stand adapters (45 and 90 degree pieces) but mine only appears to have come with a 45 degree piece (pre-attached). Can you confirm that the 90 degree piece did indeed come with your figure? Thanks.
What is the youngest age that you would recommend this for? Is this meant to be played with or is it just something where you keep it in one pose and leave it? will the paint scratch off if you play around with it a lot? Is it a toy or a collectable's item? Is it possible to find this in any retail stores?

I got a figma Link, and it's awesome, but the sword won't go all the way into the scabbard, and I don't want to try to force it in, because it will probably snap in two. Help please?
It should 'click' in once it touches the hilt, so if it doesn't reach, try gently pushing it through until you hear the click.

Also I would like to add that I was also trying to figure out how to attach the shield to the scabbard. I've seen it with the photos but thought it was wedged between the strap and handle. So this review was very helpful just wish I found it sooner before I received mine.

Okay, so I bought this for my younger brother for his birthday, and I was trying to get it all set up for him to mess around with, and this is his first figma, also buying my first one period, so I'm a little nervous... 1. The hand joint of the slightly closed left hand barely fits and always slides out.
2. I'm a little worried I'm trying to over test the joints to make sure they work, like the shield slot where the shield handle goes into is getting slightly loser then it was when I first got it to test it for him.
3. The hat joint doesn't come out easily.. at all.
Are these major problems I should worry about??

dunk the peg in super glue. but be careful
It's fine; I figured out an alternative. I took a thin layer of tape and wrapped it around the peg, so it'll be thicker. Works fine now. Thanks though :)

I must say anthony i'm impressed at the level you know action figures, i am a huge fan of the legend of zelda series and i'm just looking to get one fantastic figure of link because i think action figures are sweet and small versions of stuff in this case the figure. Plus i never bought a really nice action figure or received one always pieces of shit wal mart crap. Anyway you brought passion to this action figure thing and i never thought it to be a thing but now i see it is an art form tried and true as well as a collectors item. Every event in my life has led me to this point to tell you that your video destined my fate to purchase a link action figure with hard earned money. I never thought i could do it but now that i see your reviewing the shading of the figure and shadow backdrops as well as angles it can move and interchangeable parts i'm impressed with this shit man. Thank you so much for this review it was very helpful!! I got my Figma Link yesterday from my local anime store. I pre-ordered him last week and didn't expect it so quick. My trouble was the sword. There was a diagram for the shield to his hand but not the sword. I was afraid to force it and break his thumb or the sword itself. I thank you for your recommendation to removing the bottom part as it was my biggest challenge. This is my first figma figure.
Same thing happened with my Twilight Princess figure. The only reason I knew the Master Sword had a removeable part was because my Gwendolyn figna had a diagram for her Lance XD

Would do version of Link be good with the new Zelda from Twilight Princess? I really don't want to get another Link and I really just want Zelda.
My only complain is the lack of accesories, it would be great that the figure came with the bow, the beetle and other stuff (figma Signum had all her weapons, why Link not?)

My girlfriend got me this figure for my birthday, I got it yesterday. I love everything about it, but the bottom of the sword wont come off so I can't put the sword in his hand at all. Do you know how I can contact the company so I can tell them about this? Please help me, Link can't save the world without his master sword.
You may need to run it under hot water as they ship with the end attached to the sword. Anthony actually mentions that this may be required in order to get it to come off initially.

So weird? Mine came today and the Pommel (Piece at the end of the Hilt) came off straight away with ease? I see loads of people are struggling to take it off and dip it in hot water but mine just came straight off like it was meant to, which I'm pretty happy about, the hot water method seems like such a ball ache, did you get it off in the end?
the first batch got glued...mine still came off no problem though.
