Good observation. There are some comparisons between the characterization of the "Out All Night" company versus the "Fresh Prince" clan. Vidal's mannerisms and demeanor is similar to that of Will's. Jeff is just as level-headed as Carlton. Angus and Geoffrey are British. Sharisse is just as worldly and chic as Hilary, in fact they were acquaintances at one point.
I feel Like they ended this show to shine the light on the fresh prince. This show came out first so Vidal is will…. And vivica was Hilary. Even the way he threw them out the house reminds me off how Jazz use to get thrown out. I def would’ve watched this over the fresh prince.
