I like how unassuming much of that is. Of course, you have pretty high stuff such as the Montage and the Motor synth, and the desk itself is expensive, but you have no issue whatsoever in showing less expensive stuff as the Reface and some of the pedals. And you make music and good content with them, and you teach and help other people. I'm getting tired of some channels that only review or showcase stuff far beyond people's reach, as if others couldn't make music with less than a Prophet 10, a Polybrute, a true Rhodes and a B3 at home.
Thanks. You can make good sounding music with almost anything, and I'm not trying to convince you to buy the expensive stuff. I just noticed so many people asked about this desk. Regarding other UA-cam synth enthusiasts, who can blame them? I think we all more or less grew up in a very specific time and we saw those great artists with their super cool instruments. We wanted to have that as well, but we couldn't because our parents wouldn't buy us that stuff. Now we're older, with kids, and this is the right time to finally buy that expensive synth, and then share with the world how wonderful that thing is (because your friends, kids and wife really don't want to be bothered with that) ;-)
Did the keyboard drawer thing with my hard rubbish Roland keyboard. Seriously, somebody had put a noughties Roland 66 note board on the nature strip for Monday's rubbish collection 2 blocks from home, and I was walking home from the station. Had 4 dodgey keys which were fixed with air in a can. The drawer tray was a cut down wire shelf I scored on curbside rubbish, too. A couple of v-slot offcuts, some v wheels from a dead Ender 3 3D printer, a few petg printed parts, et voila!
I have a similar setup and get frustrated with the lack of room for my knees. If I make the keyboard higher, the desktop is then too high. Does that desk help with that at all?
Same here. I made a desk with a big drawer for my Yamaha CK, but if my chair is at a good height for me, my knees hit the drawer. I can lower the chair, but then the upper part of the desk with an Opsix or a Deepmind is not at the optimal height.
That's a "Higole Mini PC with touchscreen" (you should find it with that search term). Please don't buy this just for making music if you already own a Laptop or Tablet. ;-)
Wave bone great desk company I bought one when they first came out about four years ago
That's my desk! GOAT for tall dudes since you can move the modular keyboard tray out.
Great studio tour! I can feel EX5 is sad sitting in the corner.
I feel George Harrison would have turned this sentiment into a great song back in his day. :-)

No, if that's a problem for you, then this desk will not solve it.

Hi, what model miniPC do you use?
That's a "Higole Mini PC with touchscreen" (you should find it with that search term). Please don't buy this just for making music if you already own a Laptop or Tablet. ;-)
