This seems to have a useful thermal camera unlike some of the other gimmick ones about. If the competition is open to the UK please enter me if not that's fine
I can see that thing coming in very clutch on some car diagnostics and also working on circuit boards etc in general. Even though times are funky with electronics, planned obsolescence and right to repair theres still little silver linings here and there. I'll take an entry into your giveaway too if thats cool.
Do you think the lens in the back will take a beating and get scratched up from normal non-bench use? Seems cool but that boot up time is a little much, good thing it's rechargeable. Thanks for the review and please enter me into the drawing
Technology has come such a long way. I've watched so many videos where a thermal cam saved so much time in diagnosing. I'd still love to see how you made the Polaris test box. (I work on a few quads and side by sides every year). Also please enter me in the giveaway and please make a video of the Polaris test box.
That camera is something that would really be useful, especially checking temp on output transistors. That flashlight feature is nice too. The easily changeable battery and SD card are top drawer features. Please enter me in your give away. Thanks.
Enter me in the give away…. I love your videos! I’ve been hooked since the cluster repair videos! Haven’t seen any of your videos for awhile. This camera looks great. I kinda want a thermal camera of some type just to find the drafts in my house. I’m fairly sure some of my walls aren’t insulated enough.
@jeffescortlx No. The ET14S has a 96x96 pixel sensor that gets interpolated and upscaled to 240x240. As high resolution thermal sensors are VERY expensive I think this might also be upscaled
This review reminded me that I need to find a cheap thermal camera to find all the poorly insulated areas in my house. The winter has been brutal in New England so far. Please enter me in the giveaway.
pretty cool device! shame it takes so long to boot, but handy to have all that functionality in a relatively small footprint. enter me into the giveaway too!
Please enter me in the giveaway. As for the old-school needle, it is very responsive and properly damped to behave in a way that is very useful. This is definitely a nice upgrade from the 13s. If I was cross-shopping I would buy this newer one for sure.
Pretty cool meter. Usually I reply and say don’t include me in the giveaway bc I usually have the meter type already but that seems pretty cool, so include me 😂.

Any Canada Coupon codes?
@@RedSpatulaRTS the US code might work for Canada also? Did you try?
@@jeffescortlx yeah i tried it but said only for the us and Australia. no worries if you don't though
@@RedSpatulaRTS I'll send a message to the banggood rep and see if they have anything for the Canadians. Might take a day or two to hear back.
@@jeffescortlx okay, thank you
Nice to see you're doing videos still. I'd try that meter.

I nearly bought the MT13, but... it wasn't "quite there". This one seems like they've nailed it! The triple display meter is just awesome.
Yes I feel like the MT13 was the prototype and this is the final finished revision.
Just finished your polaris speedo repair video 😂
Thanks for another great video

I assume the macro lens will probably scratch if not handled carefully. I'm planning on keeping it in the case for storage and transportation.
Thanks for your review and put me in for drawing

Any thoughts about a new and improved version of that 15 near future?!?
@@milesmahan - the 15 IS the improved version…. Of the 13!

It looks like it does the short beep when testing a good diode
You might be right about that. I noticed a specific beep, but I didn't investigate.
@jeffescortlx the fluke meters are known with this feature, it make life easier when cheking diodes
Love that camera. Resolution is amazing. Please enter me in your giveaway!
That's a pretty slick combo.. thanks for the review. Enter me in the random gift give a way :)

13:36 Screenshort ?
Shouldn't a screenshort resulting in a black screen ? ^^
Do you know what the actual resolution of that meter is?
256x192 Thermal Imaging.
Display Image Resolution: 427 x 320.
@jeffescortlx So no upscaling like the ET14S?
@@AlpineTheHusky I'm not sure what you mean? To take the thermal resolution and stretch it to fit the screen resolution?
@jeffescortlx No. The ET14S has a 96x96 pixel sensor that gets interpolated and upscaled to 240x240. As high resolution thermal sensors are VERY expensive I think this might also be upscaled
@@AlpineTheHuskyI haven't dug deep into the technical specs. But whatever technique they are using is very good. The thermal imaging is impressive.
so no ac frequency?
Yes it can measure frequency.
