I was watching this match live at that time at the age of 9 and I wanted Bangladesh to win as a fellow Bengali. Watching this highlights after so many years I am really feeling the same passion as I was feeling that day.Such is the enigma of this sport..

আমি তখন নবম শ্রেনীতে পড়ি।তখন রেডিওতে খেলা শুনতাম কুয়ালালামপুরের কিলাত ক্লাব মাঠ থেকে জাফরুল্লাহ শারাফাতের গলা। আমাদের স্কুলে পেছনে বেঞ্চে রেডিওতে খেলা শুনতাম।আমাদের স্যারেরা খেলা শুনতো। পুরো বাংলাদেশ তখন খেলা শুনতো।সেই দিনগুলো ছিলো অসাধারন।

This is the most memorable days of my Cricket watching life till now...
I was 10 years old at that time. Television was not available in our village. Nearby young guys came to our home to listened it on radio. I had extreme fever during some days so I couldn’t rise from bed. Listened it on radio lying on bed. I can remember some speech of Chowdhury Jafor Ullah Sarafat such as: amar golar barota beje gece, shanto tumi shanto hoie kaj koro and at last ball he said "Bangladesh champion", I listened all guys' loud cheer and clap. Today I saw it on UA-cam what I listened on radio 22 years back. Thanks science. Thanks UA-cam. Thanks this UA-cam channel.

I was in class 9 back then. I remember one of my friend managed tiny radio in class. We were eagerly listening Bangla commentary as if we were in stadium. Even our teachers joined us avoiding class. Whole nation was praying for Bangladeshi team. I never pray for game , but that first and last day I did. It was absolute cricket fever.
