GDP>GNP in case of India. Because india residents produce less goods and services. This is reflected from of Current account deficit statistics.
But kyu ?
@@Cricketlover77602 GDP + Io - F = GNP. Keeping this relation in mind,
GPD = GNP when, Io - F = 0
GDPGNP when, Io - F = -ve number
In simple words since foreign companies in India (F) are earning more that Indian companies in foreign countries(Io), F > Io
Therefore Io - F = -ve number, GDP > GNP
@@mrsaraf3459thank you broo i was exactly about to say this
@@mrsaraf3459but above you wrote Io-F=-ve
Then gdp
@@kanha34526 sorry that was by mistake, corrected now. Thanks!

Ncert 11,12 th economy class do sir
What is final good and services.. And finished goods
I read in the book that: intermediate goods are avoided as it leads to double counting, what does it mean sir? You did not talk about this in your video.
Let's say you are making
1 shirt from 5$ worth of cotton
And the shirt's market price is 10$
5$ cotton is already counted in that shirts market price
So the cotton which is the intermediate goods is not counted in the gdp
