Mental health in the UK is just as terrible as the US. It’s disgusting that people can’t get the help they truly need. I understand the waiting lists to see a therapist in the UK is insane. By the time people get some help it’s too late.😢
@@betsyw7129 I saw your comment and watched that video and then I showed my wife who is also a RN, she was shocked. Especially with everything the girl told the doctor about her mother getting lymphoma at 26 and breast cancer at 43 which is still very young. Then talking about other people in the family getting it. 100 %. She should have been checked. She was even more shocked he did not physically check her himself. Crazy. I’m sure as you know. The earlier you know the better.
@@youtubeconnollyfamilyhaving watched that, I am actually very surprised too. He didn’t seem bothered. If you have a closer look when she leaves she has a look on her face when she exits, don’t think she was happy . Any kind of pain that is concerning especially when cancer is a possibility in the breast, should have been taken. Ore seriously. I hope she is okay and she got a second opinion.
Ditto. The NHS is famous for dealing with minor things but not addressing or addressing minimally more serious issues like cancer. Last episode I saw the patient had pain for more than a year that wasn’t correctly addressed and he died shortly after from lung cancer, despite repeated office visits for increasing pain and weight loss. Welcome to socialized medicine.

28:50 can’t believe he’s not making her take a pregnancy test
As an RN and educator, I'm shocked that the GP didn't examine the young lady with breast pain.

@@betsyw7129same! And shocked he didn’t ask her to do a pregnancy test as she’s not on birth control … that can also cause breast aches
