man, it's been ages since ive seen anything regarding OG overwatch, I mained hanzo which had plenty of mixed reactions. especially since i was a GOOD hanzo instead of a dipshit luck hanzo. long range projectiles have always been my jam and i've gotten really good at predicting movement and could land just about every shot i took. one the interactions regarding hanzo i had that was rather memorable was when i was playing comp and, upon choosing hanzo, one of my teammates asked me to switch off hanzo to which i responded "let me use hanzo for this first objective and afterwards, if you still want me to change off hanzo I will" I never needed to switch off hanzo as i was in the top 2 on our team upon completion of the first objective. dude said i could stay hanzo so i did. this was also when hanzo had the scatter arrow which was my "OH SHIT THERES A TANK IN MY FACE" panic button.
Dude i loved og overwatch. Literally was watching old Zylbrad overwatch videos for nostalgia's sake and thought "damn i wish they'd release a mode where it was the og overwatch." Then days later it drops and i'm over here like "ayo? God u listenin in on me bruh?"
FUN FACT: playing null sector skin on OG bastion used to use the same voiceline as in the OG null sector even, making it a real jumpscare for other players in game
I will say the amount of fun I've had with this gamemode is immense with friends. Biggest gripe is that even though we have fun running 6 stacks of a single hero is that if we do well we have to deal with "CouNTeRwAtcH" like fuck man we out here goofin around having fun and people see that and say NO.
I never got to play the original game, I've only been playing OW2 yet everything I've heard is that the original was better I could only play 3 games, thank god we have what we have now
Overwatch two spits on its history, it only makes a mockery of what it once was. One was so much better; right around Orisa / Doomfist did the game go downhill in my eyes. I was a player since the first summer event... I tried Two a few times, but it was just plain bad. I am not saying One was strictly the best, as the removal of multi-characters was the death of overwatch in my opinion. Anything they create after only pushes the wooden spike that they stabbed in my heart further.
Hate to be that one guy, but with customization abilities, video and funny moments, I'd have to side with TF2, especially ever since Valve finally killed the external bots with the VAC bans. You would have to mute the mics, though, people get TOXIC!
