Love this video Mark. Any chance of doing a comparison video of the 1980s Professionals Capri with figures vs Corgi juniors vs the later Corgi versions from the late 90s/early 2000s?
I do love the Professionals, Corgi modern cars are just too expensive for my budget, but thankfully Hotwheels have just put out an awesome RS2000 in both red and white versions, they have also done great versions of the Mark 1 & 2 Escorts, as well as a great transit. I do have a rare car window sticker from the DVD Professionals box set with the iconic 3 head silhouette logo, plus it also says Go Go GO! and if you reading this, you are far to close, back off, this is not a car chase!. Its a shame Lewis Collins lost all his confidence when his hair went, he was just as good as Martin Shaw in the show, but he went on to do many other shows, where Collins just faded into the background in the States, before he sadly died a few years back. Along with Space 1999, The Professionals should never be forgotten, from time to time, I watch them all again.

I have the boxed corgi bodies capri, with the figures. great artwork on rear too. just found out they also did doyles rs2000 too.
The original one was a great looking toy ! But for a modern model I think this is epic ! Hope you enjoyed the video ! M
My mate had one of those mk2s around 1990 until he drove it into a massive hole at some roadworks hahaha

I would like to see a space 1999 eagle up close, as I had one with the crane canister pod when I was a boy, why has nobody made an Eagle again!, it would be popular I am sure.

I hadn’t noticed that ! But I don’t often take them out of the boxes 🤣🤣 ! I imagine they make quite a shipping saving swopping from metal to plastic, so I can see why, but it’s a shame to cut corners ! Hope you enjoyed the video ! Thanks for commenting ! M

It does unscrew, but because I was putting this one straight back in the box, I didn’t think it was necessary to remove it, but it’s easily done ! Hope you enjoyed the video, thank you for commenting ! Stay safe ! M
I totally agree, models should be out on display, but I am sure Mark is just trying to stop it getting damaged for the purchaser. Model cars should have moving wheels in my opinion and I love opening parts too, for the money this one costs, you think they could have put in some opening parts, but the modern Corgi makers rarely do, such a shame, as they were once an opening part diecast leader.
