Great vid. I'm thinking gear will still drop in a range e.g. 690-700 even at end-game. But to offset the problem of getting a BIS item drop below 700gs, the devs mentioned the new crafting system will allow us to craft our own 700 BIS (crafted gear no longer has a range + we can select all the perks) so no more RnG. Can't wait.
I see a potential problem: people trying to play a role in a pug with the wrong gear, to get that kind of gear, like as an extreme example, trying to tank with healer gear to get a life staff edit: if they remove gypsum it's quite a big win
Don’t have 3k hours like you but i do have 1200 and a 60 with full ward sets for every role. I think the changes are great and I welcome the grind to get loot as is (if it drops at 695 or 700). Excited for the changes . Artifacts are basically exotics from destiny

By the time you are doing m10s, the only gear you need is bane and ward gear to do the other m10s. Thankfully none of that will matter soon.

you can change your gear at the end of the dungeon when you open the elite chests. sounds like there wont be as many drops during the dungeon anyways

Ive done this before...well similar...called targeted loooting, on Division 2..not a fun sistem.
