Sorry I can't give more than one thumbs up!! You diserve at least 10!! I would like, realy love to have these slippers as cats because I'm a catlady..... maybe one day? It would be so great!! I help in a shelter where they give home to cats "Catpower" We could all wear them 😊😊😊😊🙃🙃
Thank you for your suggestion Brigitte, I already have cat and dog slippers on my to do list and it is already working it's way up my list. Thank you too for your 10 rating I appreciate that very much. Happy stitching.
Hi Hi Hi Tracey I was wondering where you had gone as I hadn't seen you on here for a while, I guess you have been really busy. Welcome back. Yes all is fine with me and mine. I am about to join in the last minute mad rush to get everything ready in time for Christmas, you know how it goes, lack of time and all that. I swear someone steals the hours away as I sleep lol. I'm pleased you like this video it was a fun make. Merry Christmas.
I have a 5x7 machine but like to see what how they turn out, one day I may get bigger machine. The face is funny and would make a great hanging pocket for a small gift.
Thank you Kay!! These are so adorable!! I would have loved to give these a go, but my machine doesn't take a bigger hoop than a 6"x 10"....such a pity (sob). May you and your family have a blessed Christmas. Thank you for all the wonderful tutorials and all the hard work you put into each one. So much appreciated!!! xxxx
Oh how great, I so appreciate your videos as a beginner you explain everything I’ve learned a lot from them! I just wish I could find your scissors I’ve bought a couple of pairs from amazon but they wouldn’t cut butter. Thank you so much for everything you do for us!
Hi Fiona, my small pinch action scissors are REUSER brand I dont know if they are available around the world so I cant help any further than that. I do know you can get them on eBay UK. My large ones are pinch action presision aquarium scissors. I'm pleased you find the videos helpful. Happy stitching.
@@KaysCutz thanks I’m in the Uk off to check out ebay. I’m made my first let it snowman today I followed your video it’s not perfect but I’m happy enough with it xxx
Kay, these are the most adorable slippers. I have only a 6 inch large hoop, but I was thinking - I could make the upper in the hoops I have, right? Then I could just make the bottom on my regular sewing machine and attach the upper. Would that work? Is the design for the upper separate from the sole? If not, my machine would not let me load the design. If they are separate, it could very well work. I have a Babylock Ellegante machine.
Hi JoAnn no so sorry it wont work, you do need larger hoops to stitch these as I explained in the video. The upper wont fit your 6"x 6" as it is 7" x 8". The sole is made in a separate hooping on it's own, but you will still need a hoop at least 180 x 280 in order to stitch it out. Sorry.
@@jo-annhayes695 If you have measured correctly then yes it will fit. Measure the plastic grid that came with your hoop from the top and to bottom lines and then the outer left to right hand lines, if it is 180 by at least 280 mm then yes it will fit fine. Dont measure the hoop itself or you will get a false measurement. What make and model machine do you have?
@@KaysCutz I should have said that I did measure the plastic grid and yes, it is 180 x 300. Yay! This should work just fine. I have the Babylock Ellegante which is the same as the Brother before the 8" hoops came out. Thanks so much. I'm excited.
I have a Brothers SE 1900 embroidery machine. I wanted to make the reindeer slippers and was wondering if I could do it with a repositional hoop and Sew What Pro embroidery software to split the pattern?
What a pity these are not made for children in smaller sizes.. I know they would love them and so would I as I have very small feet as do a couple of my friends. Please look at a smaller pattern as I am sure they would sell well.
It isn't a question if not wanting to it is a question of lack of space for ears and antlers on smaller sizes as soon as I can find a way to do it I will I promise.
These are adorable! Thank you!
I am glad you like them Mary! Thanks for watching. Happy New Year.

Thank you for showing us exactly how to make our own slippers. I bought my scissors at the sewing shop.
You are very welcome! Happy stitching and Merry Christmas to you.

Robert, You can't make the slippers in a 5x7 hoop it isn't bit enough you need a minimum of 180 X 280 mm hoop. A hanging pocket yes maybe 😊
Sooo cute!

Wow! Amazing, who knew you could make slippers on your embroidery machine!
Are there any plans to do this design in childrens sizes?
Hi, yes there are plans for chidrens slippers if these prove to be popular.

I was wondering the same thing. The Upper requires and 8x8 hoop though.
@@KaysCutz I was wrong. I measured my largest hoop and it is 7 x 12. That's good enough, right?
