He stopped using a cheap clown makeup kit. Just like he turned from a girl to a guy. Not to mention unless you know him personally, I doubt that you know what he does and does not do substance wise. Also hard to believe that hes only 41, since he has such a long music carrier.

Kyo; he is of a very uncertain temper, a very strange person indeed, but great singer and musician. Dir en Grey and sukekiyo represent two different parts of himself, even talking of music, lyrics, make-up and other matters. Maybe later I'll make a new video of sukekiyo... Thanks for watching!

Funny thing that he started with this visual kei look, then got more serious between Marrow of a bone and The Unraveling, and after that he invested in make-up again, but this time more darker and sinister look. I know looks are not important. At least not to me that much. But Kyo's look he had with the Dum Spiro Spero tour (Black shroud and skull paint on his face) was really intimidating and inspiring. He is besides a great vocalist of an amazing group, also a very good visual artist.

at least he didnt look like a middle schooler going through the emo phase ahahaha god that hair was horrible too. His later facial hair just made him look like a yakuza lol
