I love Abbott and Costello This is terrific. Dawnie love them too we shared video clips back and forth of the things they do. She is personally love the baseball one who's on first who's on the second etc etc. And then there's another one I have to go look for it but you're going to love it when I told you. Thanks for sharing this video you've got a bunch I can't wait today to check them out more
Did you know that they aired this episode just one short year before the Creature from the Black Lagoon movie was released. Little did anyone know that the Creature from the Black Lagoon was the last Universal Studios Monster film that they made. Anyway, this really does have some very funny spots from this clip. RIP Bud Abbott and Lou Costello, you guys will never be forgotten.

NEVER KNEW A CLIP LIKE THIS EXISTED. KEEP THEM COMING. THANKS FOR THE POSTING, THEY WERE THE GREATEST COMEDY DUO OF ALL TIME. HOPE TO MEET THEM IN THE NEXT WORLD!!!
Please listen carefully around 7:58- 8:00 I couldn’t stop laughing and was shocked he even called it that! Cos that’s what we call them today! It’s obvious it wasn’t part of the act if you look at Abbotts face 😂😂
They have been giving out Emmys for the best TV since 1948. Not sure what year this appeared but sometime after they made Abbott and Costello meet Frankenstein came out. Oh, google says that was 1948 also so A&B were up to date weren't they?
LOL! No. It's from the 1953 movie Abbott and Costello Meet Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. I believe it's from a scene where Lou drinks a formula that turns him into that fuzzy, giant mouse. Someone correct me if I've mixed up my A&C films.

The moving candle started in Hold That Ghost.
I have always liked Abbott and Costello ever since I saw them on Saturday at the YMCA!
7:57 “Don’t hold me so close I could get an Emmy” 😂
Their Colgate Comedy Hour run was very enjoyable. A complete DVD set was issued some time ago.

I mean, Creature from the Black Lagoon had two sequels. Plus The Mole People and This Island Earth are usually counted as Universal Monster films too.

They were the best!
It's hard not to love these two, for you just gotta love on how they just go off script just for the heck of it, and you just get a crack up from it.
I like that Costello as a mouse and Mr. Hyde Karloff are in the back ground.
A few Costumes left over from Abbott & Costello Meet Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde.
These guys are funny
The guy playing the bizarre Universal studio propman..is Bud Abbott's nephew..Dialogue director..Norman Abbott.
Lou was the funniest guy ever!!
That’s the first time I saw Bud laugh during a routine
"don't stand to close i could get an emmy" XD
8:10
Costello: WTF?
Abbot:I didn't hear a thing
Interesting bit of trivia: that was Lon Chaney Jr as the Frankenstein Monster!
It certainly was!
Only 111k views over 9 years ?
People have forgotten good comedy
Abbott and Costello are heavily featured in the new book FIFTY SHADES OF TRAILER PARK BOYS: TPB in the Great Comedic Traditions. Its on amazon now!
I wish the sound quality was better.
LAUGHED SO HARD
Did anyone see Bud's cigarette, start to float up, when he let go of it, @04:02??? Being an experienced actor, he covers up, the prop guy's, mistake.
That was quite a fall that "Frankenstein" took.
Thanks for Posting

Is the thing on the left supposed to be a Wolf Man? Looks more like a very tall, rather sinister teddy bear.
Who isn't even IN the drama industry, he plays baseball! He's on first base.

Hey does anybody know where you can get this on DVD?
It was a lot easier to be a comedian back then. You could recycle old bits again and again and again.
No one can make that face, it's original.
Jerry Lewis could
mwahahaha!!!!
Meet Deanna could
It helps that the jokes didn't travel as quickly. That and no internet spamming your jokes ad nauseaum.
