I have the same type of craftsman tractor, replaced the drive belt according to your instructions but the tractor does not move. The pin at the back of the tractor is engaged. Any advice on how to diagnose this problem?
How would I know if the transmission pump has failed? I was moving and the tractor stopped moving forward, I knew the drive belt had some cracks and was worn.
I don’t have that with me, but if you will Google the model number, you can go to Sears direct parts and there should be a chart with the belt number in it and then at least you can get the size and part number and probably just get it off Amazon
Very nice install . The drive belt came off my Husqvarna . I will be doing a video on that later today !!
Looking forward to it 😀
And keep
Cool
Me too, looking forward to it too
Good they put label for belt routing, a fella could get confused pretty quick.
Correct, the belt can go 10 different ways, I believe
Good work lee glad u were able to get it going again with the new drive belt. kohler engine sounds good on it also.
Thanks- it’s a smooth machine
Good job
Thanks, and thanks for watching
What is the part number for the drive belt
I’ll have to go back and see if I can find it
But if you put your model number in a Google search, it should pretty easily give you a Parts list that would show that part number

Is your gears or Hydro?
It's a hydro
Are you familiar with the switch on the back that we will disable the Hydro from moving?
Yes I disabled the hydro so I could push the tractor. Then I engaged the hydro by lowering the pin.

Thanks for watching 😃
First time I did this on a Troybilt was a total disaster 👍🏽
I hope it wasn’t too bad, but one time I did this and put it in drive and it went backwards
These are easy to mess up
Belt size

And if you have the size, we can usually go to tractor supply and buy it based on size
My craftsman riding mower we not go forward or back
It could be several things
Good luck
@MurphyMower like what I not know
