I got a half lash curler… best thing ever!!! I do the inside, the middle then the outside… they are perfectly placed and stay in place and curled all day!! It was a tiny miracle!!! Robert Welsh turned me onto it!!! He was right ♥️💋♥️

@@StormSongs7 I bought the Mac half lash curler… but I thought I lost it and bought a cheaper Ulta brand - I think it was an Ulta Japanese 1/2 lash curler-it was better than the Mac!!!
@@StormSongs7 the smaller curler let’s you get every lash without pinching your lids… when you get every lash curled- you’ll be amazed, and it’s so much easier to do!!! ♥️💋

Gorgeous look and LOVE the contents of the boxes or mixture of contents or whatever it was, I love it anyway. Happy memorial weekend. This weekend I'm doing Nothing. At all. Last weekend it was my birthday and my daughter's birthday - she turned 18!!! Holy cow. I turned 53 - not so holy cow. We had a blast. Went to karaoke, I drank too much jack daniels and suffered immensely on Saturday but it's been YEARS since I've done anything like that so no apologies from me. Myself and my son kinda dominated the karaoke and even duetted on The Chain. And on Sunday myself and my daughter watched a lot of queer eye and drank baileys coffees while my son made dinner for us all. After dinner we all stuffed our faces with black forest gateau. Great weekend altogether.
That sounds like the most perfect, fantastic weekend!! I just got home from a little overnight jaunt to Richmond with my mom. She got a bit hammered herself and started FaceTiming my cousins/her niece and nephew. It was hilarious. Good times :)
@@goow Ah drunken face timing (face planting as I call it). Thank goodness I don't know how to face time. I do remember drunken phone calls in the 90's to the operator at 1am!!! Some of them loved it because they were very quiet at that hour and they'd keep me on the phone for ages. Probably recorded it to play to their colleagues. I'm just glad I'm an "Ah you're lovely" type of drunk. Too funny. Your story about the teacher and the purple pig reminded me of that song "Flowers are red young man and green leaves are green and there's no need to see flowers any other way than the way they always have been seen." They wouldn't get away with killing a child's imagination like that these days or at least I hope they wouldn't. God help any teacher if they tried that with one of my kids. I'd have gone through them for a shortcut.
Could we have anymore in common? Except for coffee, I love coffee! Cats, similar area growing up, Catholic school, love awesome jewelry, skin type and undertone, care about the environment, we both work for a school, love to laugh…We could so be friends! Thanks for the videos. I’ve learned so much.

ETA: Arches n Haloes makes a pretty good, clear brow wax, too. IF you try it, don’t overuse it tho or it looks weird. It leaves a white-ish cast if you apply too much.
I was mortified any time my parents were doing anything at school 😂 thank goodness they only did the minimum required lunch days and whatnot lol
In NZ we say caramel. We also say alu-mini-um not alum-in-um :). I will overlook your disdain for coffee due to your love of chocolate. Although, I believe in the States they don't know how to do coffee properly so if you ever come to NZ maybe we'll revisit that :P.

I had a few people asking the last few months why I wasn't doing them anymore, and it's mainly just that they get the lowest views of all of my videos so I figured people didn't want to see them anymore - but they're some of the most requested videos as well, and I like doing them. So I figured, I'm just going to do them! When I get eyeshadow in an Ipsy it's perfect because I have an "excuse" to do it, but I just got some new ColourPop palettes too so I think I'm just going to film some eye looks because I like doing them! =D

Hey Shelly! I once had a teacher who smelled like breath mints...he drank a lot and smoked cigarettes, and we all knew it. We hid his Certs one day, he got pissed and let us all out early. Fourth period choir, right before lunch. Friends in his afternoon classes said he led them in a sing-along to the Grateful Dead's "Scarlet Begonias." He was fired the following week. So teachers aren't all bad - this guy LOVED giving "A" grades! Love your video and those eyes are foxy! Thanks for triggering and indulging my memories!

The light lip works because of the intense eye IMO. I'm light-lip-avoidant myself though so I get it. Let's hear it for lop-sided top lips, too. You, me, and Michelle Pfeiffer lol. Thanks so much for the close-ups of your technique with the eye shadow; it's very useful, especially the shot of how you use the brush to pick up the dark shade--those of us who are super pale need to be careful not to apply too much dark shadow in one go! Gorgeous palette, great look.

Had ‘music class’…. The ‘teacher’ played a beat on her Casio keyboard. We sang 2 songs: 1. Every little thing she does is magic Sting/The Police 2. Nobody by Sylvia …. The teacher had peeling and big skin flakes on her lips 100% of the time. It was so damn gross… the class was ridiculous torture. We had a fire drill, as we were coming back in, I picked up the telephone on our reg teachers desk. I go ‘Hello? What? Ok. Well, that’s not nice but I see your point. Damn, that’s drastic, but ok. I’ll inform her …everyone -including HER -listening and some giggling…. ‘Who was that? (The goddamn phone didn’t ring and she knew it 😂😂) what did they say? You better tell me!!
So….😂😂 I said ‘ it was Sting, he said you better cut this shit out-it’s been years that you’ve been destroying and shitting all over his art , then he said something about your big ass crusty lips… he said cease and desist’….. everyone was howling …. She wasn’t. She was PISSED. She was so mad she was shaking. Took me ‘the office’…. Called up my mom. My mom wanted to know what the hell kind of music class it was where we just sang 2 songs over and over for 5 years. No kidding, 5 damn years!!! We were in 3rd grade singing ‘Nobody’ by Sylvia. I heard it about 3 years ago (hadn’t heard it since then--it’s about some lady’s husband’s lover calling their damn house!! The most inappropriate song ever for 3rd graders!!! I called up my cousin and asked him if he remembered it and the songs😂😂 I told him to go listen to ‘Nobody’ and call me back 😂😂
I’m too traumatized to talk about what happened in 3rd grade that caused my mom to drag my teacher out by the hair…. Then count 24… beating the actual piss out of her… while the principal held her damn purse!! 😂😂😂 My mom was a hero. Not all heroes wear capes, some smoke Salem 100’s and wear house shoes while fighting injustices 😂😂😂 I think I ‘forgot’ that until my cousin brought it all back 😂😂😂 she was something else ♥️😂💋💋

LOL oh the stories we could tell!!! The best part of the purple pig was that I totally repressed that memory, and then I was in a photography class in my 20s in college and we had this assignment to do a photographic self portrait collage (we couldn't actually be in the photo, just things that represent us), and during critique a classmate said of mine, "Wow, that's so creative," and that memory came back and I just about had a meltdown right in class because I spent my entire life from 6th grade until that moment believing "I'm not creative" because of the verbal thrashing I got from that teacher about my purple pig. It was a whole scene 😂 but it changed the trajectory of my work and I ended up getting a Master of Fine Arts degree and teaching in media arts, so.... no thanks to that Catholic school teacher but many thanks to the one in college that helped me sort out that whole trauma-dump!
@@goow absolutely!! Hearing that song on the radio…. I pulled over and listened… called up my cousin… he said ‘oh my god…. How do you forget that stuff?’ The teacher that paddled me so badly I couldn’t stand up….. bruised and bleeding from the middle of my back to the back on my knees. She was so mean. It was the 23rd of the month.. she hit me 23 times bent over her desk in front of everyone. I told myself just don’t cry. Do not cry. My cousin was. He was bawling (we were in 3rd grade) she would play the piano, blast the tv and blast the record player. Everyone was always upset because of it. We had an assembly-her granddaughter was behind me , pecking on my shoulder. I was terrified to turn around. She warned us not to say a word and sit still facing forward. Finally, she pinched my entire shoulder hard enough that I turned around. That was it . She saw it. Told me she’d ’deal’ with me soon. The entire day went by… nothing… until 10 min before the bell. She hit me as hard as she could. After a few her aim was off and she was hitting my back and the backs of my knees. I went home. Afraid to tell. When my dad got home and it was supper time, I couldn’t sit. I said ‘I think I’m going to start standing all the time to see how long I can, maybe I can beat a record’…. For a few minutes it worked. Then he said ‘that’s making me nervous, sit down, goofy’ … I started crying… told him I couldn’t. He pulled my shirt up and my shorts down. He said ‘oh my god, Betty (my mom) look at this’… then the phone rang- my uncle -my cousin came home crying and told what happened. She washed me up and put Absorbene Jr. on it…. 😂
The next day, she dropped me off.. I was terrified of what she was doing to do. We lived up a road close to the school (a holler actually 😂) I watched her go up the road. My little brother was with her , so I thought that was good and she she wouldn’t do anything with him there anyway.
10 min after school starts, she turns on every loud device she had… there was a banging at the door. Those old metal doors. My mom was asking why is this door locked? ‘Let me in, now’… she banged that piano harder and louder. My mom kept banging. My cousin gets up …she threatens him he better not open that door. He says ‘it’s just Betty, I love her and she wants in’…😂 he opened it… my mom says ‘what are you doing?’ What and why are you doing this? Look how upset they are!! Come on out, don’t make me drag your ass out in front of these kids’… she just kept banging… my mom went back , put her hand in her hair and wound it up a couple times and started drag-walking her out… she shut the door and my cousin started going out -so I went too… the principal and his secretary (that’s all we had in the office-just those two-they were having an affair-that’s another story 😂) Mr. B kept saying ‘now Betty, let’s talk about this’… mom said look at her back and legs-there will be no talking today. She took her purse off and threw it at him 😂 he held it. Mom started out slapping her, counting the entire time. By no. 4 she started punching her . ‘I don’t think slapping hurts enough’ at no 19 she was on her knees and mom was kicking her in the ass ‘Cousin Eddie ‘ from ‘Xmas Vacation’ style … until no. 24. She asked her how she liked it… she didn’t answer.
The teacher didn’t come back. She retired. She was kinda old then. Nothing happened.
Years later , we were at my aunts and she was getting stuff from her huge garden and asked me to take it next door. (I was 26 at the time, btw)
Guess who? It was her…. She recognized me immediately. Asked how I turned out… nothing else.. just that. I told her I just got my process engineering degree and already accepted a job with our local chem plant. She had the balls 😂 to say ‘see? You turned out good.. my kind of punishment works wonders. Kids today are nothing. ‘ I said ‘here’s your shit, I hope you don’t choke on any of it’ ….. that old mean crone lived to be 105!!! How do you forget stuff like that?
I saw an old classmate at the vet last year (I could not -and still can’t remember her name ☹️) and she brought it up. How she loved my mom for getting rid of her and she used to cry every night when she got home because of all the chaos … she said everyone in our old class always talked about it on fb. I didn’t even have a memory of it until about a year before I took her the basket.
