Gday from Australia, Firstly about snakes, and we have a lot in OZ, they will only attack if you corner them or tread on them, if the snake is trying to escape let it do so. Obviously there is a limit to this and times when you have no option but to kill them . Your greatest protection for the kids, beyond prayer , is education about them, to watch out for them , keep you distance and dont put your hands and feet where you cant see them. This last part goes double in OZ , because we have funnel web spiders. Having the dog with them is also a great option. About your drive way, we Australians have a heritage of making do with what we have. Get a 44 gallon drum, stick a pole through the center, fill it with water or concrete and tow it behind the tractor. With regard to the tractor, here something not many people are aware of. Flipping tractors have killed many, but its very easy to avoid. Anything with a great deal of weight or possibility of getting jammed , should be chained to the front instead of the rear , with the chain running under the tractor, this way it is pulling the front of the tractor down and cant possibly flip over backwards. I remember when my late brother was about four or five he got bit by a copperhead on his finger. Buddy thought it was a frog and he was going to pick it up. The hospi6 was about 30 minutes away like with y'all. A trooper stopped daddy for speeding. Daddy told him why. The trooper said "follow me". Buddy stayed in the hospital about a week. And. Buddy came back good as new.

These kids are so resilient. My daughter had a tonsillectomy when she was about three. They said she will only be able to eat soft foods and ice cream. My baby woke up asking for chicken.. and guess what she ate.. chicken.. lol. HAPPY MOTHERS DAY MEGAN!!
I use 1 gallon of white vingar and 1cup of regular salt( for weeds) .You MAY have to pull back the gravel to get to the roots.I usually do this on HOT day.

If you put a fake owl or snake near your berries, it scares away the birds. You have to move them around though because the birds will catch on lol. Also if Meagan misses coffee, they sale coffee with low acid for people who get an upset stomach. Also Postum makes a food coffee replacement. You can usually find it at Ingles. Not sure if you have those there. You guys are doing a great job and I really enjoy watching your little family. ❤

You can also substitute Bleach with 3 cups of 40% white vinegar in above recipe.

You guys are living the life that i wish i was able to when my biys were young. Now they are grown and im struggling to convince them to come to my land with me. I love watching yout boys they are such good boys and you guys are great parents! Whenever you catch Noah smiling it makes me smile they are all adorable but its something about Noah's smile that makes me happy lol!! If you put a fake owl or snake near your berries, it scares away the birds. You have to move them around though because the birds will catch on lol. Also if Meagan misses coffee, they sale coffee with low acid for people who get an upset stomach. Also Postum makes a food coffee replacement. You can usually find it at Ingles. Not sure if you have those there. You guys are doing a great job and I really enjoy watching your little family. ❤
