Love the moves Nico has made as general manager. Turning Bertans into Lively and Grant Williams, then Grant and Curry into PJ and Gafford were brilliant moves. Looking forward to growth as the team spends more time together and as Lively and Hardy mature.

You forgot about the first round picks and money he had to pay to get them. It wasn't straight up trade. Mavs don't have a first round picks for half a decade because Nico was desperate

It has to be a 6',8" and up three point shooter. We need taller guys and especially a 7',3" and over to defend against the likes of joker, porzingus, wemby, Embiid and etc.

Maxi Kleber being waived is one of the moves we need to make
Need to look at the Kleber before the shoulder injury. He killed it in the clipper series and he can guard 1-5 for short period of times.

we need upgrades to the 3 and the 4. Luka Irving Lively are good. But playing against White Jrue Brown Tatum Porzingis is quite different, unfair maybe, but we definitely need more quality.

Mavs need to definitely resign Derrick Jones Jr. and get an another 3 point consistent shooter and they will be set. Tim Hardaway Jr. and Maxi Kleber are too inconsistent.

Their role players aren’t good enough. We know kyrie will miss most of the regular season which will overwork doncic and they’ll have to grind their way into playoffs again with Luka gassed. Then expect a 33 year old Irving to be the same guy he was 7 years ago when he’s now chief hella and didn’t seem bothered at all he played lousy in the finals. This teams foundation is Luka & Lively but all the rest to me can be shipped off. Kyrie helped with the late season push but was honestly off and on in the playoffs. Luka had to do way too much of the heavy lifting. Without another legitimate scorer to lighten Luka’s load when Kyrie can’t be found this team will not get back to the finals or have a shot to win the finals. End of discussion. I’m right and you all are wrong including Nico.
I think Kyrie can be kyrie about 25-30 minutes a game in the playoffs if you want him to play defense. He has lot's of miles on him at this point. He seems good in the locker room and the other dudes seem to like him ..Chemistry is important. I'm not even sure who we could get for him at this point...I guess Lebron still want tot play with him but who would they trade.

The Mavs' only weakness is consistent shooting. They don't have a consistent knock-down shooter on the roster. Their best shooters are extremely streaky. If they pick up somebody like a Luke Kennard, they're set. Most of the team is young and will get better. Even Luka is a few years away from his prime.
I think the mavs are gonna win the series 4-2.. Tatum and Brown are too similar and KP is still out, celts haven’t faced a good team all season, let’s go mavs!!

The universe gives us a decision in life sometimes, one thing or the other, not both. Luka choosing to play with Slovenia Olympic team, starting next week, is him choosing the Olympics over an NBA Finals return next season. It's His choice.

Luka played 2023 NBA, then Euro Basket last summer, then a long NBA Finals run 2024, then Olympics this Summer, then a 2025 NBA season/ Finals run again (hopefully)- with no time off!? That's 5 seasons in a row, no brake! Insanely bad health management. He has FOMO. He can't be managed and he can't manage himself. Love him, but it's what it is
