I have a Smart 453 cabrio too (Passion with stock head unit). I installed this tweeters and they sound great, thank you for your support. Is there the possibility to change the speaker on the door? Where can I find a kit for this? Thanks!
Hi Freddy, there are way better tweeters that would easily fit in the Smart than the JBL ones. And tbh they would not be more expensive, the only difference is that you had a little work to do with your original window cover.
Thanks! I will consider replacing the door speakers. I’ve replaced the ones on my 451 but thought the speakers on the 453 were sufficient. It never hurts to do better!
Hi Freddy! Great video, I just checked and I have the cable ready, where did you buy the kit? I found just one on eBay but it says it’s for a “forfour” so I’m not sure if it will fit, by any chance you have the part numbers?
Supmiguel Angel: Sorry it took so long to respond. Do not order the tweeters for the ForFour!! The designs are different and they won’t fit your ForTwo. I’ll see if I can get a part number for you

It depends on the line. If you have a Passion or higher, it should be there. I recommend checking behind the cover before you order. It's a quick process.
To my understanding. The wires are there for the Passion and Prime trims. They may not be there on the Pure trim. Do check before you order. Thanks for watching!

Where did you buy the tweeters?
I got the tweeters and the base plate from Edsmartparts.com. They are in the Netherlands.
