Oh I bought 7 mm I went back and that’s what you said in the video, will try that. Thanks
Ok, sorry about that! I should work just fine for you. It’s pretty cheap on Amazon. Mine still works to this day. Even in car washes. Regardless if it’s touchless or not.
Thanks for the video my friend, just for clarity.... what size is best? 3mm, 5mm, or 8mm? The link from amazon gives us these options. Thank you
I purchased 7mm. That is the size you need to find. I’m not sure why the link is showing different options. My apologies on that. Thanks for watching.
The link doesn’t provide the 7mm option. Is the 3mm work as in the description says 7mm for OD and 3mm for cars. Just asking before buying
@@conanpr27 the 3 mm will be too small. I’ll try and fix my link. Not sure why it’s not showing the 7mm. The 7mm fits tight. Mine is still in my window to this day. The 3 mm will slip behind the window edges. You want it touching the window the jeep.
@@rjguess thank you. Let me know when you fix the link. I’m buying it today. I have a 2022 jeep gladiator high altitude. This is driving me crazy lol 😂
Wouldn't your Jeep Wave fix that for free for you. Or just the standard bump to bump warranty?
Bump to bump. If they do fix it. They have to shatter the back windshield to remove it. Put a new one on with the same kind of seal. Then the problem repeats itself. So it’s better and longer lasting to do it this way or fill it with silicone.
I have bumper to bumper warranty and they said it's not covered.
@@PathsLessTraveled not good. Follow my video. You will solve the problem. I no longer have an issue.
Id it can fall behind its not a good fix
Yes it is a good fix. I said in the video not to press it all the way or it will fall in and flop around. Mine is holding up and will not move. Try again and make it even like I said and did in the video. There are other videos on this doing the same thing. It works. Just have to be easy with it. Once it’s in the right place, it won’t fall out or in.
@@mblake0420 that’s what I did on my 2020 jeep gladiator. I just didn’t like how messy I was. Either way, I hope you solve the problem. It’s a great annoyance to deal with.
@@rjguess I just know in a decade, it will get brittle and end up in a million pieces in the bed lol
Thanks for the video. Cheap ,easy fix and it worked!
Glad my video helped you out! Thanks for watching!
