I am so pleased I came across these videos of the life and times of Paul & Martha. Paul worked hard cutting the turf well into his twilight years and Martha baking her soda’s with such tender love and care, they looked absolutely delicious , they must have tasted amazing. Times were hard for them with no electric or running water in their home but it was their way of life. Paul and Martha both had a real zest for life with a real twinkle in their eyes., oh aye. Thank you for sharing these amazing memories of two wonderful country folk.
I have thoroughly enjoyed the Paul and Martha series. What a wonderful archive of a way of life that has now sadly disappeared. I saw a clip of these videos many years ago and wondered if it was part of a bigger collection. So glad I came upon this. Thank you for uploading.
