Blechacz's touch is so light. I can imagine someone taking their fingers off the keyboard quickly and making a slight staccato, but to play debussy with the pedal and still do it so lightly. How?
I'm constantly amazed by his techniques as well. The first time I heard him play, my first reaction was that I've never heard the piano make such sounds! It's especially obvious when he's playing concertos, because sometimes I can't tell the piano apart from other string instruments.

Thank you very much for this rarity! Indeed, it's slightly different interpretation to his early recording, but I love both of them. And what can I say about this music... Debussy is my 2nd favourite composer, and this is a good example why.

Guess I should post other pieces Mr. Blechacz has already recorded. I must admit I'm not much of a Debussy fan, but I like some of his pieces. Also, I appreciate very much how his compositions allow Mr. Blechacz to display his amazing playing capabilities.
