- Some of you asked questions about the markets I attend to sell my nurserys' succulents. In this video i'll answer the FAQ's and show you our winter market stall.
Markets are one of the ways the nursery makes money and i go 3 times per month. It is a great way of meeting people who also like plants.
In this video i'll tell you the locations and show off some of our products.

I probably wouldn't buy a decorative pot, only because I love buying tiny plants and growing them big. However, if I saw a decorative arrangement I really loved, I would buy it.
I completely get that as i like to do the same 🙂
Good morning thank you for Sharing your beautiful succulent garden lovely video
💚💚💚
Beautiful plants. I am from the states and your prices seem reasonable..
Your selection looks so nice!
I’m still new to succulents but have learned a lot from your videos.
As long as I’m still experimenting with different plants I learned to get smaller ones, they are more likely to adjust to the new environment, and if they die it doesn’t hurt the pocketbook and my heart as much as if I’d gotten a large, established plant 😅
I think your stall looks great. Your small succulents look very healthy and cheap. I’d buy an arrangement, sometimes they workout cheaper than buying them separately. Great video.
Aww, thank you very much, that is so kind 💚
i would buy them, esp that pot when u were talking about the outside arrangement and it had a crested plant as one of the plants . Esp as crested are my favourites.
Thank you 🙂That one was my favourite of the day too! 💚 it sold soon after we opened up.
I would totally buy them if I was in Australia! I’m ALL ABOUT the pots! I just did a video on thrifting pots. I feel pots are so important! Unique ones, and cute shaped and colors make collecting succulents even more fun! Cute Decorative Pots are EVERYTHING for me. So I definitely would purchase from you. Any colorful fun pot with colorful succulents I would snatch up really quick! ❤
Ahh, thank you 💚💚💚 Thrifting is a great idea- i'll be sure to check out your vid ☺ A nice pot definitely makes a difference to how a space feels.
@@SucculentGrowingTips Sure does. 💕
I would either buy the little ones, not in fancy pots… Or if I found a large bowl/dish that had multiples of succulents in a beautiful arrangement I might splurge as a one off
☺💚
$18 is what grocery stores sell plants for where I live. 50-60 is comparable to nurseries with more healthy lush plants. An orchid in a plastic pot will usually run you 25 here at least. So I think your prices are fair.
Local Donkeys Tail 6 Inch Pot $40
Pachyphytum Compactum 3 inch pot $20.
Oh wow, the Pachyphytum compactum and Donkeys Tail would be pricey for me. I'd normally go half on them as they are quite easy to grow.
I find a lot of places charge based on popularity too. I tend to go by how hard it is to grow, propagate and maintain. I guess everyone has different ways of pricing plants..
@@SucculentGrowingTips I think in most cases it is because they are in nice pots. The pot probably costs more than the plant.
@@dannybun9332 Ahh, gotcha- that makes sense. For some reason, my brain was thinking plain plastic- i really should have my morning coffee before replying 😅 You are absolutely correct- nice, good quality pots tend to be very pricey and cost much more than the plant itself. Especially hanging ones.
@@SucculentGrowingTips I was going off the kind you are showing in the videos and how much similar things cost near me.
I think your prices, considering they are in decorative pots, is reasonable.
Beautiful! How do you package them for the customer to carry home?
Thank you 🙂 I have boxes that fit them and also pad it all out with crumpled up newspaper so they don't move in the car 💚
Can you ship to the Philippines? Even uprooted if necessary. I would love to buy some translucent haworthias
I wouldn't pay that much for them. I'm sorry
That is fair. Thank you for commenting 🙂
@@SucculentGrowingTips you're welcome
I’m on a budget so wouldn’t buy a big arrangement ( except for the smaller pots ) but would definitely buy some of the smaller ones you showed at the end because I always have lots of new smaller pots put aside in the garage waiting for their next new succulent. 😄 I have a few display shelves outdoors so I tend to keep some in smaller 10x10cm ceramic pots for years on end so they can look pretty & decorative on the shelf together. 🪴🪴🪴 I’ve only just begun doing larger potted arrangements now that my meagre collection of 10 has grown up.
