I saw it yesterday in Hamburg it was amazing and breathtaking and the music is so so amazing i love the Nutcraker ballett i saw now 4 versions of that ballett😍
great version of Nutcracker :) differnt to the classic one- but great :)
please, please produce the DVD :-)
I can relate so heavily, where's the Pacific Northwest Ballet Swan Lake DVD, or heck, even a TV recording of their Sendak-Stowell Nutcracker? (technically there is the 1986 stage film, which is great, but it would be nice to see the live version as well, a shame that it ran until 2014).
Hi, what is the name of the music of the part ... 5:26 - 5:56 ...
because I've only heard it in the New York nutcracker
"The Sleeping Beauty" Ballet - Act II. Panorama (used for George Balanchine's The Nutcracker - intermission between guest departure and transformation)
I saw it several times with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet years ago and I was never the same afterward. Can't watch the mouse king version at all. Tchaikovsky would have been thrilled with Neumeier's treatment of this wonderful music. No other ballet touched me the way this one does.
I wonder if it wasn't the most beautiful ballet I've ever seen!!!
1:11 At first I was unsure what this song was, at first it sounded like the middle part of the "Waltz of the Flowers", but upon further research I found it was actually the 4th movement (marche miniature) from Tchaikovsky's Orchestral Suite, No. 1 (Op. 43). The first minute or so of the song sounds like a mix of "Dance of the Reed Flutes" with that specific part of "Waltz of the Flowers" style-wise.
Great ballet from the great JN - and Katharina Markovskaya is just the sweetest little Marie ever!
I saw it last year, it was awesome
schoen!
Bravo!
